Really digging what you are doing with this addon.

Getting this crash when using it, though, when picking up the merc suit and equipping it:

I played one of the previous versions briefly, but it never really hooked me - but with 3.0, I gave it a good second glance. And damn, I should have done that a long time ago!

As it is rather early in the grand land of EU, I jumped on a semi-full Chicago based server with ping 150-200. Usually, this is a no-no, unless you are playing a unreal based game, but I was pretty surprised about how smooth the game felt and played. There was, obviously, the few random twitches but other than that, it was smooth as silk.

Jumping into the game was a bit of a mess, but after about 2 minutes, I figured out that the hangar is where I'm supposed to be early on in the game. I jumped into a one-man fighter and flew out and instantly got reminded of the epic battles from FreeSpace 1 and 2. HUD was very functional, you got a big sprite telling you where to go or who to attack and a great targeting system that even got a "Shoot here to actually hit the enemy" circle but the best thing was probably to jump into the Gunship with a seasoned pilot, who then took us for a tour around the enemy's corvette's and blasted them to hell. About 2 seconds later, 3 fighters had homed in on us and blasted us to kingdom come.

Skipping on to infantry battle, I felt right at home with the weapon selections, but I stayed with the normal carbine, which ensured me I could both snipe well, but also burst the enemy's face open. This part of the game is what I feel needs the most work, since it feels rather ordinary - but maybe that feeling will go away after a few battles.

I rated it 9.6/10, which gives 10/10. This mod got great potentional and is super polished with absolutely no sharp edges. Only thing I could miss, but isn't really needed, is a tutorial. But you get plenty of information when you log on to a server. Superb!

I'm the best beta tester there is but I have nothing else to say except.

Come on, just come on.
