Hello everyone, I wanted to talk about what the perfect JPOG would be like, if you are here it is because it is a game that has a place in your heart, because it is part of your childhood and because you love dinosaurs, after almost 20 years we already have 2 more modern alternatives like JWE, but we will always play JPOG, and I think that what we all want is to modernize it, how? there are several ways, there are incredible mods, but none is perfect, some graphic mods add many spectacular dinosaurs, but those same mods have a very bad artistic section, other mods improve the gameplay, but at the same time maintain limitations and do not add new dinosaurs, some mods don't end up because of problems between developers, so how can we make a great JPOG again? well my job right now is to mix the best of each mod and discard the bad of them, the latest version of this little project is 1.8 and it offers the best graphics, the best gameplay, the best stability, the best soundtrack and the best sound, only in the audio section JPOG 1.8 occupies more than 900MB, in addition to all that it is the cleanest JPOG in the world, it only contains less than 2030 files, the original JPOG is over +2400, it is also one of the the JPOG that occupies less space, only has a size of 1.43GB, previously in versions 1.3 and earlier the dinosaurs were 40, but I decided to reduce them to 25, because the quality in this case was better, now it is the same number of dinosaurs as the original JPOG, but the models and skins of the dinosaurs are from another world and I give the credits to the creators of DJE because they did a spectacular job, now the idea is to follow the quality of the models and the skins to create new dinosaurs, I think that 40 is a good amount, and here I am going to give my opinion : they should be more herbivores than carnivores for a very simple reason, carnivores reduce the population, so perhaps a good option would be to make 25 herbivores and 15 carnivores, and we could see incredible dinosaurs like the Carnotaurus, if any of you have seen the Disney movie "Dinosaur" from the year 2000 you will think it would be great to include it in JPOG, and you would also love to see an Amphicoelias, Suchomimus, Baryonix, Sinoceratops, among other wonderful more dinosaurs, in addition to adding dinosaurs you could add objects, decorations, more customization options for nature such as waterfalls, rocks, cacti, among other things, I think that JPOG has great potential to be modernized by the community, I am willing to help make this possible although I don't know much about modding, I invite you to download the latest version of my little project and let me know your opinion, several textures can still be improved, and things like the ones I mentioned above can be added.
