Hello. May I ask how/where does the NPC factions infighitng happen? Is it based on changing some of the vehicle patrols that run through checkpoints?

Im not sure about this case, but when I modded some stuff in Fc2 some time ago, I remember that the changes I did in the unknown files still worked ingame after packing them back the same way they came out after unpacking.

From what I know, you can change it mid game, but it takes some time until the current stalkers die and respawn in new numbers.

I'm not sure, but perhaps you don't have the route open? There is a game option that makes some passes between maps hidden until you buy or find an info on them.

Hello. While looking through the gameplay options in menu I noticed I can't see some of the descriptions whole. Probably because of my 4:3 monitor.
Anyway - could someone please tell me what is the rest of the decsription of game option that ends ...15 minutes (gametime).

First you can just dump/backup everything in Call of Pripyat folder.
Then, the directory where Dead Air's xrengine.exe is should be ..,,Steam\steamapps\common\Stalker Call of Pripyat\bin
Leave everything else in the bin folder together with xrengine.exe except the database folder, that you need to put one directory back, to ......Steam\steamapps\common\Stalker Call of Pripyat
Then just launch steam as admin and launch Call of Pripyat via the game library. Should make work both overlay and hours.

I'm almost afraid to ask this, because I know it's generally hated question... but about how often are new updates for this mod coming out?
I just want to know if I should hold my breath until the next update, or just start playing now.

It's not the "exact" same description, it's a little more helpful when you hover over it ingame. Not completely 100% description but better.
As far as I know:
Mindfullness makes you find additional items in stashes.
Geologist makes you find additional artifacts.
Don't know about the butcher though.

I don't think they changed any graphics in the new version. But I'm unsure whether they touched the default color correction. Maybe try setting that. If I remember in older version they were all at something around 40. In the newer they were around 60.

It seems that the music option in game options is broken. You can turn it on/off but no music plays anyway and it resets back to off after restarting the game.
edit: I take back the first part. It works when you turn it on. I just turned it on too late ingame. But it still doesn't stay turned on.

There are Call of Pripyat maps, and 90 fireweapons plus some melee weapons. Don't know how many armors.

Don't know if it'll help, but try adding -noprefetch launch option to target. (righ click on dead air shortcut, properties, target ".../files/dead air/bin/xrengine.exe" -noprefetch

I'm not sure that completing faction mission makes them all friendly in the end though. But that's the way it has been since I can remember.

As far as I know, you can have any companion that is your friend (green). Maxing out your rep with faciton should make all of the faction members friends, so yes.
Earlier, you can just heal someone to make them friend.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to add some sort of indicators, because I see I'm not the only one who constantly has problems with losing health without any obvious reason. Tried using bandage, drinking moonshine (3x), smoking and nothing stops it.
If it would be possible, make the radiaton indicator show up after a while of being irradiated, not instantly and thus preserving the usefulness of geiger counter. Same for other negative effects. I guess that irl, you wouldn't notice at first there is something minor wrong with you, but after the symptoms would start getting worse you would get some idea what is happening to you. But since this isn't real life, i need the game to tell me somehow.

Other than that and a few occosional crashes when reloading a saved game, the mod looks and plays really good.
