Currently in the hands of the public it is a graphic remake of the original game. What is in my hands is ship meshes a tech tree remake new sounds and much much more that hasn't been released to the public. As to the low end machines yes we did tweak some things to make it run better but that was because we literally busted the graphics engine a few versions ago to the point where low end machines would get 1 fps and then crash. The mod itself isn't intended to make it "Work Better" for low end machines it was just something that we kinda had to do. Hope this helps.

The same weight part is because we slimmed down the original file sizes. At one point the download was around 1.3 gigs and that was just a huge pain to update so we made the resolutions smaller to compress. As far as the getting the mod working you Navigate C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.85 <--- in my case.

You extract the file into that folder so it should look like:
Gyazo.com

Inside the EnabledMods <--- It should have this:
TXT
Version 0
enabledModNameCount 1
enabledModName "ToxicSinsOfAnEmpire"

Version 0.6.0 Released

Thank you Indeed. We have to tweek and make changes but we wanted to release a quick look at where we are going with it. There is a few glitches in the Demo that we will have sorted out before the 20th thanks for trying it out and as always thanks for feedback :D

I have no idea how many of you are interested in massive graphic upgrades but if you are ^_^ Moddb.com Version 0.5.5 going to be released march 20th.

Version 0.5.5 will be released March 20th! The wait has been long enough I think we all will agree on that. I have been playing the new build and I must say much improved from Versions 0.5.0, 0.5.1. I run alienware and I was getting fps drops. I looked at the guys and was like. Bit much haha. So happy I don't have those issues in this version :D

That is generally hard to say. It all depends on what the mods have done.

I dont know about everyone else but my mod team has been lost in space when it comes to finding a good mod website. This is by far.. and I mean far the best we have seen. So the decision was made to inform all of the other websites we was on that we was moving here. It made some of our fans angry but like our team said. As a mod group we need a stable home. They are all welcome to follow our team this way if they choose to but for us this was the right move.

It only takes a few moments from mod teams to promote this website for all the great features it has. So make it a goal to promote the website in all of your release promo videos. Also only host it on this website for even more support.
