Anyone remember ofpr.info or looking for certain mods/addons? A version of ofpr.info is back up as of this post, through this site: Ofpr.info.paradoxstudio.uk
In case anyone in the future is trying out this mod, and having issues starting it, use the SSF exe from inside the Mod folder.
you might want to try Swat 4 Elite Force. Made by modders that actually care about how the ai should act.
Just so happens that a compilation of addons I still have has it. Not sure if it's the Revisited version, but even so, I think it'll be better than nothing.
The campaign ain't my problem. How am I going go "gung-ho" against gangsters and police in the street for my own amusement, when I don't have enough ammo to do so and the recoil won't give off that impression? Sure the mod, even outside the "features," doesn't encourage that playstyle, but I can just adapt if needed. Just that the "features" doesn't give a good taste to mouth.
I like the mod's idea, but there is not a lot of ammo to carry for each weapon, especially with the lack of weapon variety of the early episodes, and the recoil is very high. Anyone have an idea how to edit the mod as to remove those two features, so I can enjoy this mod a lot more?
Uninstalling the mod (for performance reasons. I do believe this mod is good when it works fine) ruined the weapon files in Max Payne 2. Each time I try to open Max Payne 2, it gives an error about the weapon files.
Reading the description after finishing the mod, I'll say that was a clever twist. As for the mod, it's short at around 30 minutes for me, but very fun. I figured the 400 mb would be for a small group of missions at best. But the 400 mb size does show off in the map design itself. Nice backgrounds, textures, cutscenes, voice acting. Would recommend if you want to try a Max Payne 2 mission that is very indepth and action packed.
Woah, glad to see this map back from 2010 again
According to the other comments. This issue is not only on you.
Yeah they shoot em as they start dropping their weapons. I get that, but i've seen a few times when they don't fire on terrorists, half-way into getting on their knees. Once I saw a terrorist surrender also half-way, but still get shot in this mod. It's not a big deal to me anyways.
I use raven Shield 2.0. I did change the .mod file, like with your other mods. Hell, the guys even crouch-run when in recon and in normal speed.
I really appreciate your work, glad to see there are still ai mods being created.
Besides the compliment, i'm commenting here to say that the ROE rules as said in the description don't seem to work. From what I can read, Rainbow ai should no longer kill anymore surrendered terrorists, which I would like. Only problem, they still do this besides recon (I assume since I haven't tested the recon ROE yet).
