So that’s the problem. ;)

The mod was not updated for the new version yet. You would have to rollback to the 2.7.2 version via the betas tab.

Are you using the 2.8 version of CK2 or the 2.7.2?

Wow, it is looking really good... and ambitious. Didn’t know there would be so many custom made details.

Wow, calm down man. No real need for this. The alpha is from almost 2 years ago and there were changes in the team during this time, so excuse me for not taking that as a representative of the current state of the mod and considering that having access to its current form would be a nice preview (“taste”). Relax.

As long as people understand that it is a debug version and not the finished version (is there even a mod that can be called a finished version with Paradox constantly updating CK2?), I don’t see why not release it so people can have a taste of it. If you wait until you can release a perfect final version it will only be released after CK3 (if ever).

Yeah, I know. I was trying to use just the map with the 2.7, but I’m facing a problem. Not sure why yet.

Ok, no problem. I asked because I’m trying to make the map work for me, but I’m don’t really know how. This means that I’m doing something wrong. ;)

Apparently random question, but is the dev version playable? Specifically, the map?

Well... I’m up for it. Any directions or instructions for it?

You are doing a fantastic job with the mod, especially considering the lack of help. I wish I could help, but, besides history files, there isn’t much I can efficiently do with CK2. Keep up the good work!

I can’t really remember, but, judging by the date, it would be the 2.4. Probably the 2.4.5 with no DLC above the Horse Lords one.

Which version of the game are you playing at and which what DLCs? This mod isn’t compatible with the most recent versions yet. Make sure you are using the right one.

Thanks man. I will take a look and consider you suggestion. But I think that I mostly prefer just to remove this feature and avoid having to constantly go for cheats to null it.

But these are different mechanics than the one I’m asking about, no? You are talking about the bleeding, the stamina and the heavy armor mechanics, no?

It the bleeding mechanic the option for the permanent wounds?

Yeah, couldn't find it there either.

I really like this mod, but the wound system is something that keeps me from playing it.

Is there a way to turn it off? Or does anyone know how to edit the mod so to get it out?

I have not tried the mod yet, but I would guess that you are running the wrong version of the game.

Which version of the game are you using? Remember that the version 0.7 of the mod is compatible with the 2.6.3

Thanks for the reply. Made a 2.6 fix with twigs and spit to test for personal use and, since a new one may not be coming anytime soon, will keep messing with the mod's files then. If I make any real progress I will inform (but I don’t really know what I’m doing, so…).

Didn’t know about the github, but will take a look there. Does this means that the svn is not being used anymore?

(ignore the Guest one above, I didn't noticed I wasn't logged in :P)

I decided to look into the files and it seems that the only effect it has is increasing (considerably) the chance of a neighbor or vassal province getting a “Scoia’tael presence" event; which may cause them a lot of headache and even start a revolt.

I don’t think you can play as Scoia’tael, but I know that there is an event asking you money in support for their cause if you are a tolerant character. Since I never really gave them money, I don’t know the effects.

PS.: but you can probably find it in the events folder.

I would like to ask: is this mod still being worked on or with in a temporally halt (but still going to be worked on)?

I ask this not as the traditional “is this mod dead” question, but mostly because I was considering the idea of working (and experimenting) on it in my spare time, but I would not start it if it is still in production.

Any chance we can have a not so nice version in the middle? Just for an updated taste?
