Okay nevermind about the SP bit, I guess if no one connects it just puts you against the character on the opposite side of the selection wheel. I was playing Kae so was up against Suguri-SP.

Yes it does, a very basic online versus but it is there. However there aren't a lot of players so you usually are put up against Suguri-SP which I presume stands for Suguri-Single Player. But if you have a friend or co-ordinate when to go on and play that should work.

I am really enjoying this game so far, reminds me of a lot of SNES action RPGs like the Lufia series and Secret of Mana.

I also can't help but laugh at how brutal the protagonist is in the game when interacting with other people. I just got FRAPS so I can hopefully catch some of these interactions on video. By the time I beat the game hopefully I will have a lot of footage to put together a montage of evil from evil quest.

Great game. One thing I would recommend changing is increasing the cost of the stat+ items. 700 makes it so there is no point in buying equipment it's more cost effective to just use them instead.
