I enjoy old games and 3d modeling, what else is there to say? Haven't made any mods yet, but I'm working on it. Feel free to PM me if you need help, I'm not pro but relatively good at modeling, and can give critique(which is blunt at times). Have a nice day c:
Just a starship I made to test out GMAX's capabilities as relative to other suites. I...didn't like the experience. Many features one might get accustomed to in other software are missing or replaced with half-baked alternatives. Case in point, instead of a symmetry mode, our friends at Discreet only saw fit to include the Mirror modifier - which basically duplicates the geometry and nothing else, leaving actually normalizing the model's vertexes to the user. Most frustrating. Also, no export functionality means I probably won't touch this again and I'd advise anyone to do the same.
Still, a pretty nice looking ship, if I do say so myself.
