Has anyone who CTD's to Desktop on loading the module tried setting their game to "Load Textures on Demand"?
This is in the startup window which allows you to choose your module.
Click Configure > Video > and check "Load Textures on Demand"

You basically make the in-game scenes for villages, towns, castles etc.

I added a map picture.
The bandits are currently located around the edge of the map, as most bandits represent the neighboring kingdoms raiders. "Khergit Raiders" "Nord Raiders" etc.
