This is for the new version, 2.0, with heavily reworked doctrines. The RAF command tree being one of the ones to receive major changes.

Its a good program, simple and fairly powerful. Only limits on some complex **** that you would want a diffrent program for. But other than that works great, simple to learn and ports straight to HL2 basicly.

Will definitely check out soon. Cant wait to blast me some nids.

I cant run the mod. I install both the unupdated and updated version and it immediately goes to error report. I have checked everything about the mod that could crash it that doesn't involve digging around in the files and cant find an answer. Have run previous version of the mod fine also. Any idea if theirs a fix for it?

My advice to you would to go back and explore a diffrent map and maybe play the game with a small server of about 20 or so people. Ardennes is considered widely to be the absolute worst map in this version of the game at the moment.

About the field comments though. That's the way Normandy is usually envisioned and shown in the fields and farm areas. There are certain tactical situations where these open fields can become quite bothersome and a bit more interesting than just an open field.

Hopefully you come back to the game and try it a bit more. As it is quite a good game if you let it play out or find a good group of players to play with.
