I don't see why not, though I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Would you mind clarifying your question? Sorry, but I can't quite understand what you're saying. ^^;

Soulstorm can only launch one mod at a time, even with the Mod Manager; so you would need to combine the mods together into another mod. Alternatively, you can simply make one mod a requirement of another mod and launch the other mod. I think that's what you're getting at. If you want to know how to do that, that's out of the scope of the Mod Manager. It's designed to help solve common errors with playing mods, not magically make different mods work together. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Sorry, everyone! I haven't been able to check this site for some time. Lots of stuff happened (like moving to a new operating system; Windows 10 is god-awful so I switched to Fedora) and I also got a new job, so my apologies for taking so long to reply. ^^; Anyway, onto your questions!

@ psychopasta: Don't use Windows. =P In all seriousness, though, I don't know why it's doing that; especially if you've disabled it. Very strange. Like I said above, I don't use Windows any more, so I can't really help you with that. Try searching around to see if there's a solution. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

@ Guest: You mean the mods? Which mods are you trying to launch? Did you check the warnings.log file for any answers? There's a "Show Fatal Data Errors" option in the Troubleshooting menu of the Mod Manager that could help you there, if it's a Fatal Data Error that's the cause of the problem.

@ Hemorhage: Select a mod from the list that appears on the left hand side and click the play button, go to File->Run Mod or simply double click the mod of your choice in the list. Keep in mind that it won't let you run the mod if you don't have all of its required mods installed.

I just scanned the archive that's on ModDB through Virustotal.com and my own anti-malware software. It's clean.

I also compared the SHA256 checksums between the archive on ModDB and the original archive on my machine. They are identical. The checksum is in the description, so make sure that the SHA256 checksum of the archive that you download matches that.

Strange. Which anti-malware system reports it as a virus? It should be clean.

I really wish ModDB would tell me when someone comments on my pages. Sorry for not noticing your comment until now. ^^; Next time, if I don't respond, send me a PM so I know you've commented. =3

To answer your question: you should optimally use 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) to open the archive, but any archive program that can open .7z files should do. I've put that in the description now, to help anyone else with this problem in the future. ^-^

I've also just updated the Mod Manager to Version 1.2, so check it out! ^^

I just updated the Mod Manager to Version 1.2 and one of the updates is that the error messages are more informative, so hopefully that will help you with your problem.

You all should check out Seoras' work. I just discovered him and he has some good voices for a number of Dawn of War units, amongst other things. Moddb.com

As VoidLight said, both versions can be installed at the same time; however, I feel it would benefit the UA mod to be updated to become compatible with the FreeUI mod now than later as it would be easier. Plus, the UA mod could contribute its own UI differences (larger structure menu/wargear menu, abilities bar, etc) to the FreeUI mod to ease this process. ^^

Thank you, HiddenVindicare, for answering that question. I wasn't sure how to answer it myself without potentially coming across as rude, so I'm grateful to you putting it in the right words. ^^

Also, try using this tool: Indiedb.com If you don't have a required mod installed, it'll let you know without you even needing to run the game. =3

I think you can only see games that are created by people who are running exactly the same version of the mod and have exactly the same version and configuration of the Soulstorm executable that you have; otherwise, they don't show up. Most likely: there are games there, you just can't see them.

It looks like another down-vote troll has been here. I've noticed that all of the comments on the first page have been down-voted for no reason.

This might be the problem: Moddb.com

The reason is because it's missing from the relic_squad_list and titan_squad_list tables in the RelicEntityList.scar file. Funnily enough, though, it's present in the relic_uber_list table; which is in the same file.

Then chances are it was because the research was missing. In fact, I notice that the function checks if the mod uses Tyranids on wargear level 6, but not wargear level 8. That's what's causing the problem, I'd wager. I'll have to post more details about this in the bug report for 1.84.

This is the issue: "SCAR --* ALERT: Research with name tyranids_Swarmlord_blades_research not found."

Check to make sure that there is actually a research called that in your installation. If there is, then perhaps the capital S in "Swarmlord" is messing it up. It might be case-sensitive.

Yes, the Mod Manager allows you to start the game with the mod that you select in it. It doesn't matter what mod you played last (or, at least, it shouldn't).

Or do you mean something different?

Is your second sentence a suggestion or a statement of fact? I can't quite tell. If it's a suggestion, what do you mean by "switch the initial mod?"

I suggest you read the changelog: Pastebin.com It's not just the Necrons that have been changed.

Also, the problem with a graphic revamp is that the better the graphics, the more of a strain it puts on the years-old engine; especially when you consider how many entities is on the map in a typical UA battle.

Oh darn, it's a Visual Studio project. That's a problem since I don't have Visual Studio. I have Code::Blocks. Is there any way to open this in Code::Blocks? Both DuckDuckGo and Google haven't turned up the answer.

If there isn't, then what components do I need to install when installing Visual Studio Community for this project to work?
