Do you know what a scam is?!
It's so cool that someone does a mod like this for Armada. Thank you for the effort so far.
Love it!
Looks CIS-ish without the usual Quarren design. Also it doesn't quite look like a warship. My guess (without the description that is) would be, that someone retrofited some kind of armed freighter.
Aaaalright... THIS is a REALLY cool design! Can't wait to try it.
I like how it looks quite familiar yet is something completly new.
Looks a little bit like a modified AAT.
Thanks for the reply. Interesting to see stuff like this re-used.
I guess it's safe to assume, that this mod's dead. That's really sad.
That's a beauty!
Finally this ship is getting some love.
Oh boy... That one's even cooler than the red one!
I really like the fact, that the coloured areas aren't alike.
Oh boy... Christmas is early this year!
Great to see, that some more of the Battlefields and townscenes are coming to life.
For a moment I was expecting a log entry from Kirk.
Awesome!
The design is great and the model looks cool. But I think a new paintjob would be great.
REALLY stunning, but way to short. If it wasn't for that, this would be perfect. Everything seems just right. As was already written here, the sound is awesome. These phaser-sounds have a serious feel to them.
I don't want to complain, don't get me wrong. It's just odd, when these guys are facing a hill and don't have line of sight.
On the other hand... To keep them safe adds a little extra spice to the fight. Tell me, whatever you want, but I like that. ^^
It's awesome to see these in action. But sometimes they're placed a little odd around the battlefield. ^^
I always send my skirmisher line to protect them as soon as possible.
I second that!
If it is made in an article form it would also be great to know, what the units are best used for.
It became quite the piece of work for me to go through all of the different articles just to get the info on a single unit type. ^^
The only downside on the well written articles I guess.
Thanks to both of you!
I had a mix of units. A few rescued after major battles but most of them from the Northern Virginia tree.
My companions had different loadouts. Two Hawken Rifles, one scoped, three with pistols, one with a flagpole and one with a Henry Repeater.
For melee weapons... Bowieknifes and Swords.
I guess Kagestorn is more helpful at the moment. ^^
I haven't tested or investigated it any further, but today I had a similar problem, when I wanted to order a melee charge.
I have that too. But I didn't count it under bugs as of now. ^^
I'll try it out and will report as soon as I'm able to encounter them again!
Thank you.
EDIT: Worked!
Do you know, what the problem was?
Oh boy, I love it! xD
It's a great addition for the immersion.
Doing exactly that at the moment.
No other problems so far. But there's still much for me to discover. ^^
Robbed some caravans along the way. That worked.
That really helps, yes. But when you're interested in a topic the fun comes on it's own.
Most times at least.
I borrowed a collection of essays on early medieval England and their trade relations to Frankia/France and Scandinavia from a friend once. Some of them were REALLY badly written.
But at least I was interested in the topic. ^^
Here on the other hand I enjoyed the reading.
I can understand your reasoning behind this, but it would be great to see some better faces among the troops.
But hey; you're in charge here. I'm only suggesting.
Well... First bug encountered.
The game starts and I was able to create a new character. No problems with this.
But as I tried to help a group of Manhunters against some Looters, the game crashed to desktop.
At first I thought that the problem was the three Manhunter units that I rescued some time before and added to my army.
After I deleted them, I was able to kill another group of Looters without any problems.
But it seems, that the game doesn't like Manhunters on the battlefield at all. Crashed again after I tried to help them without my own Manhunters.
With the sheer amount of generals in this conflict it's not that important I guess.
But it's great to see these guys on the battlefield.
Alright. I stand corrected I guess. ^^
Some time during the night the notification for the update came in. Took moddb a while. xD
Already on it.
And again this article is just great. I think I've already told you that I like the historical bits a lot.
The effort you and your team are taking to develop this mod... I am amazed.
Thank you guys.
EDIT: A nice next step would be if you could change the vanilla face textures of the game into something a little 'prettier' like some other mods did.
You took me by surprise with this one!
And here I thought you just made some teasers and a bunch of screenshots.
Here goes my free time... Again. xD
