I just like Source in general, of course It's not the easiest if you want to go into more advanced modding, but if you know your way around it then it really isn't *that* bad. Even if Source is however many years old, I believe it's still a great tool to make games or cool mods.
Petscop Source 2 is coming in a few years time, then we'll go to Petscop Source 3, but thats a different story.

Sorry for making you wait so long for an update but to tell you the truth, it's been sorta hard to work on the recreation is recent months.
I'm currently re-doing textures and busy coding in a message box system and will update all of you when that's done. As for any further concerns of yours, the recreation is not dead and I don't intend on leaving it. Thank you for all the support so far, it really motivates me a lot.

Also the anti-aliasing and texture mipmapping of the sprite leaves a feint white outline if you look closely, so we'll disable that and update the images later.
Thanks! The Paul sprite is 2D while everything else is 3D. We were originally considering making Paul into a model, but that would neglect the original video series, so we just stuck with the 2D sprites in the end.
Don't worry, we've got it all planned out. Hopefully there'll be a demo release soon but we can't really promise anything at this point in development
This was actually a mess-up with the lighting in the Newmaker Plane, so we decided it looked cool. You can still spot the initial building that Paul comes out of.

I don't mind at all! You won't be able to achieve the thirdperson look and see Paul because the mod modifies the source code, and gmod is an entirely different game that limits these modifications. But we aren't ready to release this mod just yet, so you'd have to wait to get your hands on the maps.
Well, we're making a 1 to 1 remake. However we have considered adding some development levels/easter eggs along the way that haven't popped up in the video series. So we'll probably end up doing that.
yep, not edited in any way. I know it seems somewhat weird to have third person in a source mod.
