i guess this is problem of hpl engine, or maybe some graphics issues, dunno. too badly its crashing for you, cuz the map is loading next is really big

i fixed this problem by the way,
about SDKbase i think it should be inside Standalone folder, this is default installed folder, but i not sure, if you want, you can check this

i think command "datacachesize 128" will help, with this problem. But you will need to start the level again with a new save

maybe i found what causing me to crash, the problem is here
: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Source SDK Base\bin\datacache.dll

By the way i have same with smod standalone
C:\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Smod Standalone\bin\datacache.dll

i reinstalled smod elite, and play on the map d2_prison_08 same thing "hl2.exe has stopped working" when i teleporting with alex to the next level
