The artillery ballistics were researched using Union artillery field manuals of the time. The velocities recorded in this field manuals as well as some other factors, were used to derive the behind the scenes values in the napoleon data files. The arithmetic method used to derive these values and make them relevant for the napoleon game engine, was applied to all guns and their values equally to keep the difference between shots and gun types proportional.

First off, thanks for the support. The issue with stonewalls is that if we changed the stonewall then all maps that include them would have to be redone. That's a crazy amount of work to go back and redo.

Unfortunately I have no plans for a single player campaign atm. However, it is not out of the question, the biggest problem is that it is impossible to edit the ntw campaign map.

Not North Carolina specific. There is the new District of GA, SC, and FL army that has some home guard costal north carolina units in it. There are also plenty of north carolina brigades throughout the confederate armies of north eastern virginia. However, their is no specific North Carolina army. Many NC units that fought, for example, at the battle of New Bern are present in the gettysburg and sharpsburg armies. Hope this helps.

When you uninstall you should always use the uninstall exe that gets placed into the game folder, this applies for other big mods like ntw3. However i recommend whenever you run into this situation with any more, that you delete your Napoleon folder first, then uninstall/reinstall with steam. Hope this helps.

This is usually a problem with resolutions and displays on certain computers. I recommend changing around the resolution.

Unfortunately the campaign map for Napoleon is not editable, if any campaign were to happen it would have to be staged somewhere in Europe.

Yes, that is actually recommended. However you will need to launch the game through the launcher for the first time. After that you can just press play on Steam.
