If you're installing the game fresh, you can download it from Thedarkmod.com and that will be the latest version.
If you've already got the game installed, simply run tdm_installer.exe (or tdm_installer.linux64 on Linux) to upgrade to 2.12. Happy sneaking!
Awesome update! This game just keeps getting better and better thanks to the hard work of the devs and community.
Nice! One of my favourite old school missions gets a subtle improvement.
Play the "official" version, then this update, to get an idea of what EFX can add to a mission.
PSA for those still using the old updater: it is obsolete now and won't pick up the newest version. Use tdm_installer instead. It's up to date and is a smoother experience all round.
Why not try it anyway? If you're interested in a shortish fan mission just to get a taste of what TDM is about, I recommend "In Danger of Judgement" and "Deadeye" as a good sample, as well as the two missions that come bundled with the game.
Fantastic work, Dark Mod team! So many excellent improvements; I think this must be the most extensive update since the release of the 2.00 stand-alone version. The game just keeps getting better and better.
