In this case, you can just get the GOG version or buy it via the humble widget on our website. They are both DRM free. So just a one time download and eternal playing! Here's the section: Tinyandbig.com
thanks. it's been a long and hard journey for more than 2.5 years. but it worked and I'm pretty proud of our team.
thanks, hope you enjoy the little lasering adventure! and thanks again for the edit reminder, changed the ou!
first of all, thanks a lot! we're happy to have the game out after nearly three years of hardest work and to get so much good feedback!!!
Now to your questions:
--will there be some sort of "special edition" or "collector's edition"?
there's nothing planned right now. Probably the box version is the closest to a special version, as it comes with two postcards, one poster and is packed in a cardboard box. There'l be a comic based on the Tiny & Big universe coming out in the next year. but that's still secret....
--is the amazon physical retail version the only version that will come out?
yes. you'll be able to get it in german retail markets as well, like media markt and saturn.
you mentioned earlier that the soundtrack + the game will only be available on steam, but gog.com mentions "game track", too - isn't that the soundtrack?
-- steam offers the full soundtrack with all the gametracks. gog includes just one tune frome the game, the "retro blues". composed by our studio member mr noone
--also are the gog.com goodies the same ones that will come with the retail version (6 wallpapers, game track, 7 avatars, artbook, poster, map)?
they slightly differ
--will the retail version need steam activation?
no, not at all
--can i redeem the retail or any other digital version on steam if i like to?
good question, I'll find that out for you
--btw: congrats for the final release coming soon, can't wait! tracking this porject for a long time now :)
thanks a lot! we're in the last 16 days of production and apply the final touches.
It's already on the German Amazon: Amazon.de
Hopefully it's shipped to the US as well, if not we're having a little stack of boxes at our bureau, that we can send directly to you.
yes, USK is still in the making, so the 0 is just layout right now.
thanks! nodding and bowing.
not yet, right now i only got my stuff on flickr. and fan art's back! hoping the demons will leave the scanner soon!
hope you find it, good luck. inquisition's tough.
We'd be honoured!!! And, of course, we'll feature that on our site in the blog! so if anybodies interested, just shoot me a mail with your work: stamm@tinyandbig.com. Good question, Paradigmthefallen, I'll have that info in the next news as well.
does this mean his impressiveness is bigger than the old, ancient and mystic culture ones?
While testing the game, we recognized that the cutting mechanics include a big load varieties to solve a puzzle. The Levels are designed rather linear but every puzzle is solveable in more than one way, and everytime we watch somebody play, he comes up with another solution, we've never thought of. and sandbox mode would definitely be great, i agree!
thanks a lot! to be honest, the taxi's my personal favourite piece of props in the game. we should do a racing game after grandpa's leftovers!
you smelled right. plattforming and cutting. right now this level is being structured and filled.
@booman: thanks!
... and at environment in the way. use safety goggles!
indeed he is, good eye for details! we gave him some longer arms and legs to have more possibilities for advanced and epic stone liftig animations. the little blob was too much blob to give him special animations. i liked him as a blob as well, but i also like his new powers of lifting!
nice to see that someone likes the TM as much as i do.
thanks a lot! doing our best, to load gadgets on that little guy.
thanks dude, lemme return the compliment, that Biggens Rendering is pretty spiffy! Greetings from the Black Pants HQ, Stamm
What would you do, if someone stole your underpants?
the reality boy TM is still in the making and we're tuning the functionality and the look, but this is definitely one visual direction we're heading for.
thanks a lot, 3d indie comic extraordinaire!
