Very good work, but what i want to say to the sound:
The speakers should scream more. Because would you just say "Enemy units inbound" as cool as duke nukem if you are in combat?

Very good stuff for FC2. If you now add some AI characters it would be perfect

In germany (where i come from) you need to be 18, to be able to do online purchases with your bank account. Thats the other problem

It's the same thing i do. If i like the game, i buy it. If i don't like the game, waste it. In case of minecraft. I like it. realy. But i don't have paypal and my dad don't wants to get it. Because i'm only 15, i can't buy the game myself. And i don't find somebody, who buys it for me (i would give him the money). And as far as i know, lots of people have this problem. So please notch, add a payment method like paysafe-crad

I played the demo this night and it's reayl one of the gratest games i've ever played. BUT, there are a lot of bugs:
AI:
- Doesn't use the power bar of the tanks
- To passive, doesn't expand
Graphics
- Got stuck the first time while making it's turn
- When the enemy has turn, i can see the healthbars of his units, even if the units are not visible to me
- While playing the game, i had about 10-5fps, at start about 60
- Damage from infantary is not shown

Other issues:
- Please change the button for rotating and moving the camera, because when i select a unit, the camera rotates a bit...
- Add a little more spread to the atilery tanks

Other Ideas:
- May add upgrades to Cpu or something. For example you could overclock the cpu, but need then a watercooling, else the cpu would take damage

Everyting else is realy great, and for one man absolutly epic.

Very interesting article. But i don't think they will give up their mod. But if they realy finish it, they will do it i 2020 or somthing like this.

But back to game. I realy like your idea, and the demo is very great.
But i have a question about the base:
You said the player will be able to build structure. Does this mean that he will also have to get some workers?
And what structures to build?

Oh and btw. Will ther be a smarter AI in the final game?

I think you should use Lua. I'm not a good programmer, but in Crysis, I made a lot with lua. And a very good thing about lua is, that you can define each C++ function as a lua function. That makes it easier for modders and yourself. So i would say choose lua.
