PLEASE HELP ME!

I have downloaded over 2 mods worth 2-3gb (Heat of Battle, Nations at War) and they all don't work and does the same damn thing, launch, black screen for a second, crash to desktop. I have done things like community tabs from original BF2, windowed mode. It didn't even make it to the intro (all those 3 mods).

Zone of Continuous Fire 2 works on my pc but EVERY level crashes at 14-15%, and I can't seem to find a solution to fix it.

I am pretty sure these mods are great but, there's something wrong, this is so ridiculous and I am sick of wasting my bandwidth limit, not giving up on these mods yet, cos I know they'll run soon

Sandbox Mod

Every damn mod I install after Combat mod just doesn't work and does the same thing (black screen then desktop). I'm sick of wasting my bandwidth limit. I have done running it from the original BF2 exe then go to community tabs but still does the same damn thing. Like they didn't even get to load the intro, it just crashes just before the intro plays.

The only mod that works in my pc is:

Do guns look less detailed when I set everything to low and off? I don't think my Core 2 Duo can handle such details

Is it the same as moving the shaders_client_custom away from the directory of the mod (I moved it to the desktop) so the mod doesn't read it? Cos it still brings me to the desktop.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I just don't want to give up on this mod for now. : - )

Still no luck, it still crashes to the desktop (even launching it from the original BF2 mod, the community tab). I even copied the Settings folder itself from bf2 to Heat_of_Battle.

Edit: I just found out that there's no Settings folder inside the Heat_of_Battle folder. Does the file you uploaded already included a Settings folder in it?

Every map crashes when loading, can't remember what percent it was but i'm probably sure that it is somewhere are 14%. I did install it correctly tho, idk why others have the mod working fine.

please. tell us the solution to this.

I just played it recently. The UI is good and smooth, so is the gameplay. Would wait for further updates again. :-D

Jeez the textures are so good and the guns are damn detailed, nice work

Since I've finally created an account, all I can say is THIS MOD IS KICKING ***!

The animations and stuff is sooo satisfying to my eyes! I really loved them especially when you pulled the bolt from the AK (if that's what it is called).

The weapon kits are nice as hell, my favorite is the Mechanic and the Sniper class.

The problem with Sniper class is it doesn't zoom out and show the reload (it's actually a bit of a hassle but it works).

Please don't leave this mod. it has great a potential. : D

After launching the game (the black screen thing the crash to desktop)? If that so, I am also experiencing the same thing, look at my comment above.

So the mod crashes to desktop, my BF2SPCC tells me that they couldn't find a part of the path "mods\Heat_of_Battle\settings\ServerSettings.con" and I think that was the reason why it crashed.

So I tried running it from other mods like AIX2.0 then going to community tabs and still does the same thing. Pretty sure same thing happens when ran from BF2, it still crashes even at the shortcut I made with no misspells. Am I missing something?

I don't really know anything about this but, do mods work without the file mentioned above? I have extracted it successfully tho, I put the Heat_of_Battle folder in the Battlefield 2\mods\ then I put the ESAI (the one with the HoB folder, the bf2 one) in Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\.
