I have to agree with you. Altough the whole evolutionary thing doesn't concern me, the model is too simple. It just doesn't fit into the natural selection design. Even the resourcer tower from the first natural selection had a cooler design. I love the character models, but this just doesn't stand in the same line with them. :(
Yeah, I'm fixing the legs :) I did the upper body over-muscular on purpose . but I know, it seems stupid if the legs are too hinder.
I am currently creating "Hunter" for the villagers team and "The Lost One" for the minion team as the first characters introduced. If you think some other character class should be the first one, suggest them and I might consider doing one of them first.
Don't know if you're being sarcastic there, werewolves and vampires ain't really that unique ;) But yeah, I try to design the weapons with a little bit out of the ordinary touch. Getting my inspiration from steampunk and vampire movies, comics and other art.
Sorry mate, as cool as it sounds, I'm going to stick with the medieval/gothic theme with this one. :) Altough, MGS ftw. :P
Ok, posting some news later today for the current status of this project. I have some new sketches of the monsters, I got some help with those from a friend of mine. Also, I finished my military service, 8th of January, so I actually have some free time to continue this project once again. :)
Haha, yeah, I can just imagine the ways you think it would be used.
I can create a little movie of how it would work for you to see. Now, it is the truth that the looks was the first priority, but I think I got the mechanics figured out ok.

Those two weapons that are showing are the "highest" tech that you see in the mod. I am trying to achieve a small amount of "steampunkish" style without too much complicated parts to make them believable in 17th century. :)
