I'll take a look at it within the coming month.
No worries. I know not much has happened in a while, but I have loads of content sitting on my hard drive waiting for me to find a spare moment to work on this.
Just rename "Sonata.1.zip" to "Sonata.1.ftl". The next release will be packaged so that this is unnecessary.
Why don't you email me directly - matthew.j.alioto@gmail.com.
That looks absolutely outstanding! I'd love to use it, but the rest of the Sonata ships would need to be remade to match (or at least the Long Island)
We'll see. I've recently brought on another artist and his work is far closer to vanilla FTL style (I'm more of a dev than an artist).
New content in the next release will be a bit more "FTL"-y, although the ships that are in right now won't be updated for a while. I'm not concerned with matching vanilla as much as I am with changing everything and stretching the bounds of what is possible.
Thanks for watching Sonata, sir. I'd welcome your feedback on what I've done so far, and your input on what I should do next!

P.S. Glad to see a Mass Effect fan following me! The style of exposition and the attention to lore detail that Bioware is famous for was a huge inspiration.

P.S. I would love to include some Russian profanity (in addition to the already-sufficient English profanity) if you would care to provide any!

Thanks for watching Sonata, man! I'm sorry that "Minuet" never saw release, but hopefully seeing Sonata on here gives you some satisfaction; a lot of the lore we developed together will make an appearance!
Hey, buddy - thanks for watching Sonata! What sort of content are you interested in seeing from this mod?
Thanks for the tips, buddy. Next time I'll post I'll spread the pictures throughout the text, and try to be less wordy. I personally think that depth of thought when it comes to technology and geopolitics is absolutely crucial for the story of a game or mod.
I'm actually surprised at your kind words about the art - I'm not an artist! Everything in Sonata is starting from square 1, so hopefully it'll get better in the future.
I absolutely welcome your comments and reviews on any of my material; this is my first released mod, and I'd love for it to be as polished as possible.
My ideal would be a multimedia post - centered around a video - but sometimes you just have to put that work out there. Hang around, big things are coming for Sonata!
