It's the third number value in the line:

aim_hud_offset_pos = -0.0909,0.054,-0.15
aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9 = -0.0909,0.054,-0.15

So, the Z value would be -0.15

To move the weapon forward you increase it, to move it back you decrease it.

Hey techniquepg2, im currently porting JDAC's aiming tweaks from anomaly to dead air. and i was wondering how were you able to get your weapon pack to be so compatible without the annoying clipping? ive successfully ported the addon but the clipping in ADS is insane. any tips or ideas woulde be appreciated.

Hi,

You need to mess with the hand position and aim position values. Hand position determines where the weapon is held and aim position is where the weapon is held while aiming down sights. For example the AEK in Dead Air has the following settings:

hands_position = -0.06,-0.18,0.18 hands_positi

aim_hud_offset_pos = -0.0909,0.054,-0.15
aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9 = -0.0909,0.054,-0.15

Now the three values represent the x, y, z positions.

X = left/right
Y = up/down
Z = forward/back

If I wanted to move the position of the AEK up a bit, I would increase the Y value of the hand position. I would also have to decrease the Y position of the aim position by the same proportion, so that the sights are still properly aligned.

Clipping is usually caused by the weapon being positioned too close. So you would want to alter the Z values to move it further away.
