Many lives were lost that day, a day forever sealed in the confines of History.
A day to remember. "Those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them."
Im on the Calvados Coast were everything happened, can't forget about it !
(plus they closed all the roads again so it's a day you don't forget)
More seriously it's a part of our history, Normans and French will never forget.
