Great job once again, I like the support power! I agree with the decision of not granting the units of this support power any vetyerancy status: a unit like Sandstorm with rank, if directly transferred into enemy base, would cause unfair imbalance for the entire dynamic of the gameplay, which doubtlessly would drain the element of fun and make resoursefulness when engaging the opposing force a void quality.

Now I know this question is slightly offtopic, but when you wrote that these units won't have ranks, does this also mean they won't be able to get promotions?

I have watched the related video of the capabilities of these turrets, and must sincerely congratulate you for adding some well-needed elements. This serves as tactically important ability, for this grants an opportunity for changing dynamics of the battlefield itself. Jolly good!

I'm in favor of the first one, that is replacing Slingshot with Sandstorm for Steel Talons. As Cabal/Legion suggested, every faction has got its own unique background and purpose or agenda. And the ST has been defined of somewhat experimental division or faction within the organization, thus Sandstorm would be quite fitting to the agenda.

The unit itself was pleasant to begin with, and the barrage ability makes it even better. The suggestions by Destromath are very considerable as well.

My pick is number 4. Colouring is more lively when compared to number 2, and vivid contrast of colouring highlights detailing as well as epic dynamicity of the unit.

I agree with Kekoulis, ergo option 4 or option 3, my personal preference being option 4. As I'm more of an end user type instead of modder with essential knowhow, I'd be delighted at least to serve the project as a tester, thus being able to give my opinion and feedback from my point of view concerning the project.

I also agree with Radu273 about getting rid of as much of bugs as possible, for I've played a few mods with certain disadvantages that made them extremely vulnerable and prone of crashing.

Concerning the possibility of the naval units, I can wait.

I'd vote for a rapid volley of less effective projectiles instead of stronger ones with moderate reload time. Also, an option for some kind of anti-infantry upgrade, for example a machine gun turret, would be nice.

Good job, this new model is aesthetically pleasant, combining both elements of tactical and cool, having a "tacticool" look. Not suggesting there was anything awry about the prototype Sniper Commando, yet this is even better. Also, the Subterranean Strike as a unique trait for this unit delivers much needed tactical element that Black Hand was initially lacking, and thus being important asset to the faction. Jolly good!

This ability is quite surprising, and indeed significantly better and more innovative than my lame suggestion of the unit being a spotter or something as such for the Specters. The drilling effect itself looks nice indeed, and the sound isn't that annoying in my opinion. Some improvements are welcome, yet this looks jolly good so far. Such unit with so impressive and aggressive, well-executed ability will certainly provide a certain advantage for the ones choosing the Black Hand faction, and will certainly be fitting for the Black Hand's doctrine of unconventional and unorthodox warfare. Splendid!

Syngman - - 20 comments @ BH Sniper commando

Once again, I'm positively surprised about the development of this unit. Also, the idea of having both one Commando of regular Nod type alongside with long range Sniper Commando will offer the Black Hand faction quite a positive benefit. If there's anything I would ask for, it's to agree with Ahrimansiah's opinion, and ask the appearance to be altered to slightly more tactical or "tacticool", a.k.a semi-tactical and semi-cool simultaneously. But so far, I have nothing to complain about. Kudos!

Concerning the abilities for such unit, aside from long distance marksmanship and the obvious ability of using explosives, would be a spotter for the long range artillery. The GDI Snipers have this ability, Nod Shadow Teams are able to delpoy artillery beacons, so why not utilizing the Specter artillery units with such tactical benefit?

Jolly good, the edits of yours have made this unit totally credible within the TibWar 3 and KW continuum of reality. The unit's voice sounds very good and clear, and the effects are amazing. Though the template of this unit is not your original creation, the effects and certain details are making it truly worhty. Just to make clear, the VLS coding was coded and executed by you, if I'm not mistaken? Overall, this is just amazing. Kudos!

The missiles, as well as the related effect, look fantastic. In fact, their appearance matches the sheer epic magnitude of what the Kodiak is supposed to represent - ergo, your moded version being far superior than the one developed by EA for the Tiberium Twilight. I know that I might appear obsessed bashing the TT, but this is what the Kodiak should've been capable of in the first place.

So congratulations, you just modified the Kodiak into genuinely epic unit.

Pity to learn that missile rendering of TT weren't in the game files, but I'm quite sure you'll be able to utilize something else.

When it comes to your resourcefulness and editing ability, I'm nonetheless quite impressed of how you were able to utilize the existing resources in effort to create such units as Field and Steel Troopers, or Mutant Commando, with their unique abilities and traits. Not to mention the hysterically macho and awesome Ironback. My opinion is that such units, even if they were modifications of existing assets or templates, are to be considered unique creations. Kodiak and Mastodon templates naturally originate from TT, and are in lesser manner to be considered original showcases of your creativity, yet the modifications you have made to them are reflecting your abilities as well.

Sorry, this comment went quite off the original topic, but I wanted to express my support to this marvelous project of yours. Keep the good work going!

If the rendered missiles of TT were compatible, I'd suggest using them, for it would save quite a lot of time and effort. On the other hand, I've been impressed with your resourcefulness and ability creating unique and new units, thus if you created a new model for new missiles, I'm sure they would also be a joy to the eye.

Positive progress, indeed! In fact, Kodiak in that ghastly Tiberium Twilight didn't utilize the concept of VLS, therefor your adaptation has already greatly surpassed the version in TT, although this isn't your final version of Kodiak. I suggest replacing mortars with powerful cruise missiles, for firepower of such magnitude would be fitting for the concept of this epic unit.

I can't wait to see a video containing footage of Kodiak's capability.

I cannot help but love it! Though I don't happen to be a fan of Tiberium Twilight, quite the contrary I loath it from the very core of my heart, the Kodiak was one of the few positive elements of the game. Not only positive, but sincerely epic marvel of aviation units - truly a gem in otherwise subpar disappointing excuse of a game. Thus I'm very glad you were capable of bringing this darling into your impressive patch. Superb, sayeth I!

Syngman - - 20 comments @ Need your opinion 16 (BH's commando)

I'd go with option 1. Since the stealth ability has been one of the Nod commando trademark features in TW and KW, but the ability been stripped from Black Hand commandos, it would only be fair to have a decent compensation.

Also, I like the idea of having two commandos simultaneously, so I'd be saving the ability to train two of them. Would give the opponent a reasonable challenge.

Sorry for this question, but did you replace the originally planned Steel Trooper with the Field Trooper for Steel Talons faction? I mean, they're so similar that the resemblance is quite uncanny.

But I like the idea of Field Trooper none the less. Good to have some heavy infantry for Steel Talons as well (presuming Field Troopers are for Steel Talons that is). How about Scanner Packs and Power Packs for the upgrades, just like with GDI and ZOCOM troopers? Or, how about some exclusive and unique update instead, for Field Troopers only?

Oh blimey it looks good. Though I'm more of a fanboy for GDI and it's subfactions, and the re-visioned Zone Troopers were pleasant to look at, I must admit that your vision of Vertigo is a piece of art. Superb! Hopefully we'll be able to play the Big Bang Patch soon.
