A new version for the latest version of CK2 in development, but its mostly just me modding some files every now and then when I feel like it. Progression isn't exactly fast or anywhere near done.

Sure, that'd be more than welcome. If you're able to access the Paradox Forum, there's already a post on Page 91 concerning contributions and how anyone can contribute content to the mod.
Due to balance, a lot of lethal moves will simply result in massive amounts of damage. The only move that is currently fatal is having your own lightning redirected back at you successfully.
Sounds like a pretty bad bug. I'll look into it for next week's fix.
Hey, Update drops later today, in less than twelve hours, I assure you. Not long now.
This update only includes the White Lotus for 1.05, due to the immediate demand for an update, and won't even include the Last Airbender events which won't be complete until the 1.1 Update.
The Red Lotus are from the Legend of Korra, so wouldn't be included in the mod until the 1.2 Update, when that era will be expanded on.
Okay, the Poll for the new update has now been counted. I expected only around 40-50 total votes, but this poll has far exceeded my expectations, with 199 votes made in total. While the Wait side was initially leading, the immediate update eventually won out, with 115 Votes, that being 58% of the vote in total, with the remaining 42% voting to wait.
Thus the vote has been won for the immediate update side. In the coming two weeks, I will work towards releasing an immediate update, 1.05, which will include all the features currently ready to be included in the mod. Thank you all for your participation.
Okay guys, I'm going to make a choice. I've spent so long focusing on improving the mod's systems, but the content's still going rough. I've just finished the Duel System however, so technically, I could release a version of the mod that's very much playable. The downside however, is the Spirit World, Age System and Last Airbender events aren't finished yet and I don't know how much longer I'll have to spend working on that. It's been so long since the last update, and the current released version isn't even compatible anymore, so it's about time something got done.
So I give you the choice. We can wait longer, and get a full update, or you can vote to get an immediate update at the end of next week. That immediate update still includes a lot of goodies: Artifacts, Societies, New Duel System, Siege of Ba Sing Se events and tons of other improvements. But as I said, those features I listed above won't be included.
So drop a vote at the Straw Poll I've created here:
Strawpoll.me
I'll be really busy for the next couple of days, so the Poll will be open until 9:00am at Sunday AEST. At that time, I'll open it up, count the votes and do whatever has the highest number of votes.
I can definitely rule out a release this week. I'm hoping to wrap up work next week on all coding, and have the following week for testing.
The Portrait Artist left before finishing. I was left to finish the portraits from the samples provided, and I'm no artist at all. There were little to no samples for female portraits, so that's the cause in that area in particular. Sadly, unless another artist takes up fixing them, they'll remain unchanged for a while, as I've got far more pressing tasks to work on than the portraits at the moment.
Well, the Warhammer mod isn't on ModDB as far as I can tell, so that's probably why.
Starting a closed testing phase this month. Might slip in the last few days, might be the first days of next month. Depends how buggy the current build of the mod is.
Soon™
By that, I mean probably next month.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news yet again, but I just can't. In the first three or four days, I was making great progress, but now I've hit a block that I can't even open up the files without becoming over stressed about how behind I am and how I can't possibly meet the deadline. It just kills any motivation I have and makes it impossible to work. I should have never given a release date, I just did because I hated to leave people hanging especially after so long already spent waiting. I had this problem before, and I asked for another week, thinking that would be enough, but it wasn't. I could ask for another week, but I'd be lying and I'd have the same problems.
The truth is, I'm one person working on a project that is an absolutely massive in scope. I've written five hundred new events and goodness knows how many lines of localisation just in the past couple of weeks. I'm pretty much burnt out at this point and I'm not even done. While a lot of what it's in the change log IS done, there's a lot more of this update are in an unfinished, buggy or untested state. I could release what I've finished now, but it'd be pretty barebones because most of the new features rely on other, yet unfinished, features.
I'm just going to have to say it. There should never have been any promises. I'm pretty much just going to move the update back to When It's Done status. I need some time to recoup, and get things sorted again. Hate to disappoint you, especially after so many promises, but trust me when I say, the mod I've got now isn't something you want. It's an unfinished mess.
I've just had to announce now that it's again pushed back to the 5th next month. A few unplanned things like my computer needing repairs, and the fact I need more time for play-testing and making sure everything works. Meanwhile, on the Paradox Forums, I've posted the Change Log for 1.1 if anyone wants to see it.
The Disharmony Bookmark is a currently unimplemented start date set one year after the end of ATLA, so basically at the start of The Promise graphic novel, but before the founding of Republic City sometime later. Disharmony was just chosen as the name for this bookmark because the peace treaty between the Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation was called "The Harmony Restoration Process". In the events of The Promise, Zuko broke this treaty by rearranging on his promise to remove the Fire Nation colonies, sending the army in instead in a bid to keep the Colonies, and almost reigniting the war. Disharmony describes the period pretty well.
Currently as it is, it remains to be seen if this bookmark will be included in 1.1. Currently, all three new bookmarks, Dragon of the West, The Last Airbender and The Disharmony are in flux as to exactly where they will start. The Disharmony bookmark might be removed, and the Last Airbender bookmark moved to immediately after the end of ATLA, but this still remains to be seen.
This question has been asked many times recently. The mod hasn't been updated yet since the last CK2 patch, meaning that yes, you do have to roll back to the previous patch to play the mod.
Aiming for the 29th for the next update.
DLC is preferable, especially Reaper's Due, but the mod is playable without any DLC.
Until the next update, you'd need to revert to the previous CK2 patch before playing the mod.
Don't chew my arm off just yet, I promise, it's still coming!
In the last few weeks, I've made greater strides towards the next update than ever before. There's just quite a bit of content left to add before it's ready. Just give it a couple of weeks or so and the 1.1 Update will be here.
Looking fantastic as always.
It works with the latest version of CK2.
It'll be sometime after Paradox releases the Jade Dragon expansion.
Due to someone messing around with the succession laws, priests and lower level vassals default to open succession and will transfer their titles back to their liege on death instead of automatically appointing a successor. This will be fixed in the next patch.
It's still very under development at the moment. The Avatar can be killed by certain events, like Roku's volcano, and in the upcoming update, it will be possible to defeat them in a duel with a sufficiently powerful character. There are currently no mechanics for hunting the Avatar however.
Ah, classic Australia. This just messes with both sides, one half Trump jokes, one half Mexican stereotypes.
Grandpa definitely put on his rose tinted glasses again.

Just a modder, nothing more.
