Hey guys, small update here so I won't have to write it in the awful ModDB news window.

Well I have 7 maps fully noded and playable, though I have to message the authors and ask if their creations are okay to use. Tutle started up on the North Korean models again, because in the migration from his lappy to his PC some things got lost in translation. As in they got bugged.

Some more models are also going to be ported from Crysis, so hopefully this won't cause a legal snafu. I've already sent a message to Crytek, but who knows if it passed the mail screening, or if anybody bothered to read it.

So basically development is still in progress. My final thought is that you should be careful of how grandiose your expectations are getting. This is a SMOD mod. There is no multiplayer. There is no massive gameplay change. The HL2 story has not been edited to a new campaign, which is why we are including other maps made by great community mappers. This is not an entirely new game, this is a mod. It will not earn MOTY. As for the system requirements for the mod you need to be able to play source games. If you can play HL2 completely maxed out with no lag, you're more than set.

If you can make 1 or 2 moderately sized jungle or bunker maps that would be great! and thank you for the sound suggestions, we'll see them if we need help.

I've wanted to dig out Max Payne 2 for a whle now, but I didn't find a reason to. thank you for creating that reason.

It's a port from Crysis actually, with lower quality textures, and without all of Crysis's shaders. It looks good on other maps, but due to the fact that this map is fullbright the suit looks terrible. It looks better on other maps.

I agree there are too many SMOD Mods. There are probably 2,000 you don't know about. But when we're done it won't even seem like SMOD.

It's a possibility that can be done with alot of work. Most people will tell you it's impossible though.
