hey guys i just put up an idea about psyche and its effect on game play, because i figured while yes we do control the majority of the story it wouldn't be as fun as it could be if the player was simply stuck on rails and by the addition of psyche it gives the player a choice in the story: do i try to wait it out and stay strong? or do i go with the quick fix and deal with the effects later?

how long do you plan the mod to be all in all?

in a daze, i stumble blindly through the dank basement, the smell of decay saturates the air and i feel myself suffocating. I manage to rip the door open in through my hallucinations and i find myself blinded by a sight nearly forgotten in this god forsaken maze, light. My eyes burn as they readjust to my new surroundings and i begin to explore them like a child, moving straight a head i find myself with a hollow feeling and i can press no further on. Heading back i realize my folly, what a fool i am to leave such a simple tool, a flare on the table the most obvious of spots, this place plays tricks on my minds i or is it we can no longer decide which is real in this dark place. I contemplate by furious a furious light that burns all, the heat sears my flesh and by the time i re-focus i've already dropped my flare in fear. Muscles tense, unwilling to move in the darkness, minds relapse, searching for memories of my ghastly pursuer, and finally my heart stop, praying for death and at last i feel the raging flames smoother me before the ghoulish visage of my tormentor.

description: living in general terrifies you so running away is as natural as breathing to you +50% sprint speed however your urine trail is like a homing beacon to those necros(idno wat to call it but when sprinting you leave a glowing trail that necros can see and follow )

Description: after a 1 too many tangles with the necros, youve been corrupted partially by them, while you still have ur consciousness you do have some of their properties: increase speed, health, stamina and physical strength and an increased senses, however ur hands dont really fit standard issue weapons anymore
Effect: increased speed stamina hp and melee damage
better vision than regular humans but not as good as full necros
increased melee damage
slight passive healing
restricted to throwing weapons and melee weapons

i like this game but not many people play :(

need help.........................everytime i try to play modcom now it stops responding and forces me to quit when it tries to load up either when it says "retrieving server info" or "downloading watever/watever" i know it still works cause i have all the things required so if anyone has any suggestions tell me plz, and yes i have tried reinstalling modcom

1 last thing this goes out to mooey, matthew, mason and all of the modular combat dev team: id like to take time to personally thank you for the awesomeness of modcom ive never played anything like it and it pains me to never play this awesomenss again, you guys are great developers seriously never give up on this mod its too epically win you guys have done a great job with this mod and i hope you continue the great work for the people who will continue to game on as for me my steam games may be over for now but i will be back one day ill make a new account on steam using my steam email and i will find you all again::: also to the dev team last time i played max ammo regen was really slow like 2 shells per 10 seconds no offense but that sucks monkey balls like i get trying to balanace but thats retarded i did some testing and i found 2 shells and 10 smg rounds every 10 seconds is perfect it allows the max ammo to go on for quite along time for constant firing but it does eventually run out meaning ur forced to find new ammo if u want to keep fighting and if u swith weapons by the time you switch back you do have enough to atleast cover your retreat

i didnt know i could ever miss people ive never met im so glad that i met all of you and i know that because of you ill never be the same again we laughed we cried we loved we hated we shot each other stabbed each other beat each other to death with props weve been exploded face melted burned vaporised damage amped mag mined and ill never forget it i did not choose to leave you but valve has forced me to say goodbye

nyaa things they should do: release 1.77, create a smg with incendiary rounds, add a grappling hook for travel and "scorpion-ing" people, allow the ability to focus shotgun spread and increase the crit rate to 30-50%
