Not half bad, simple but fun while leaving plenty of room for expantion. I've been developing in Unity for about a year now and am pretty well versed in most aspects of game design. When it comes to developing games a sad fact, that most developers can attest to, is that most indie games fail in the first few months because of over ambitious goals. This is the perfect example of a project started the right way. Very interested to see how this project turns out. Keep up the good work.

Hey just wanted to admire all your hard work and offer some advice. You may have thought about this already and it may already be implemented but on the off chance you haven't, I noticed when the ai is triggered by sound it instantly turns around and heads straight for the player. My two cents on the matter is just to have it so if there is a sound trigger the ai turns in the general direction of the sound and only peruses the player if he is in the ai's field of view. I really do admire all the work your team does and really enjoyed the way you check to see if the target is visible or not, very ingenious.

I cant be a 100% but I'm pretty sure they're using a program called mudbox. It's a very powerful digital sculpting tool used to create highpoly versions of models to bake normals from. Mudbox and Zbrush are the only two programs I'm aware of that can replicate the effects seen in the video, at that quality anyway, Blender has a sculpting function that isn't very well optimized and there are a few others with limited functionality. Anyway hope this helps.

Hi everyone. Just had to add my support to this project. Really amazing work with the environment. It's been a while since I played the original mod but as I recall the story was a very worthy piece of art.

I know this has already been addressed but it really makes me sick to my stomach when creating a free product actually becomes a bad thing as well as people acting like the developer always owes you something. This is particularly sad considering the product isn't even released. I have been working in indie development for a while now and the ability to create and finish a project even as simple as the original mod requires great dedication and ability. The fact that this amazing idea is being pushed to greater heights should be praised relentlessly especially with the amount of detail put into every scene, regardless of the price.

Anyway thanks for your effort, I am very much looking forward to the experiencing this masterpiece.

First off, thank you for this amazing game! Really you guys did some AAA work here. I have followed the mods on moddb for quite some time now but haven't really found a mod that I consider to be complete. I'm sure that there will be some arguments made about my former statement but it's because of this that I hadn't even bothered to make an account here yet. I know its been a while since your release but I just finally got around to playing your mod and I must say it is one of the best horror games I have had the pleasure to experience. Anyway I just had to setup an account to thank you for all your hard work, it was amazing!
