What time factor corresponds to vanilla time speed?

Does changing respawn period for basic and new require new game?

Regarding textures; Vanilla textures are fine and the only thing that make STALKER playable for me. Argus or any other thing prone to frying GPU, CPU and PSU is just not necessary. As for me, it's less than undesirable.

Limansk is beautiful and very atmospheric. I'm eager to explore it.

What I loved about SHOC is that enemies and others were constantly respawning and the zone was dynamic. I hope LA will be the same.

I would recommend trying to put together OL 2.2, Arsenal RC with patches and translation patches. You can also use Petrenko's Workshop mod and you can put in your compilation any other mini mod. I did it and it works pretty well. It has all SMP has without extreme resolution textures that fry your hardware. Many mini mods can be put together and they can do wonders if you find appropriate things. :)
SMP 2.5 was supposed to be bug free.

Could be due to high hardware temperatures. SMP full tends to do it; I recommend avoiding it no matter what sort of computer you have.
