You'll have to switch the player slots around. Certain slots will be a set color depending on what color you are.
Example: if you're purple, the first slot might be red... or blue. Whatever color the number 1 is.

I love this game. There's a mod that brings back the multiplayer servers for PS3 and PC.

Hey, I've discovered a bug. Whenever I start any campaign, I start out playing as one of the enemy factions while my faction with my player name is just sitting there.

Honestly, I think black Empire buildings work well for it. There's no need to change much. Besides, it's Legends, not Canon, so I don't think they ever transitioned to the First Order.
A cool idea, but maybe you don't need to do that.
