Impressive, simple 2D images rendering like 3D visually!
The main gain of such is probably about performance for sure.

Very good & juicy!
I hope you also fixed some "GetNextBestWeapon" calls on empty weapons (no more ammunitions), from that I recall there were bugs with that, where this did not switched to best weapon or something like (I did not tested again recently to confirm it, I just remember this).
Some HL1 engine-based modes with lower quality content have been added to it, I do not see why yours not! Since it is very promising!
Yeah from that I saw entry registration on Steam is $100, not much if you got donations from people to help you at publishing the game on it, & maybe later you could make it pay to the library, at a cheap cost (like $5/10 maybe), or, for its final build with bugfixes reported & solved.
I remember for Black Mesa, the first release of the game was released for free (before the Xen chapter addition), then was later moved to Steam as paid game, with some changes.
Gorgeous!
I am also glad to see new features additionally to multiplayer support you already talked before (usually, most of new mods are only SP)!
Kind of mod which will likely deserve to be available through Steam games, this usually helps at increase popularity for quality work which is deserved.
Use 90's ambiance & "things", yes, can makes sense, despite this is a game & things are invented for such, so we can have freedom sometimes.
But the quality environment & textures BMC brings is something they should keep, this is the only "raw Half-Life remake" that interest me, because it goes deeper than just a classic Half-Life with a few minor changes (a bunch of people did such like "HL by X", "HL by Y", etc.) which do not interest me at all. Some other people having good knowledge should try to join this team instead to try making their own!
Yeah, & under Xash3D, this helps at rendering better!
Cool!
Also glad to see there are both Windows & Linux binaries.
Awesome render as usual! We can only languish the release moment now! Hehehehehe!
Yeah, GoldSrc should have been Xash3D from scratch! Impressive engine upgrade!
Huge difference about quality, effects & lights!
YOur whole picture (screens + desk parts) seem to be from a whole game (like a one under Source engine), due to the luminosity!
Yeah, finally a "remake" that worth to be followed, because it does not changes "tiny things" (which might not interested people like me who played HL multiple times), but it pushes things beyond that!
PS: I think authors, you should change the main image we see on mods list (https://www.indiedb.com/games/half-life/mods), it looks too dark & unvisible, almost like image display problem. Or, enlight the Black Mesa logo to be more white.
Well done!
So cool to see a game using Xash3D's potential!
Nice quality environment & effects of lights!
I think the author might need to do some modifications before Steam release, like when you out of ammo, make the game switch to next best weapon, or when you go back to previous weapon (last used item), if this one is empty, you can deploy it while you can not via the inventory listing. I also think some models about characters & weapons could be changed to be better.
However, I am on chapter #3, I love to play it! Fresh game long time no see!
From that I recall it is, search for XP tool set (maybe like "v140_xp" in project settings, enable them), something like. Or maybe you could compile by using a slightly older version, this will not hurt, and you will probably do not loose any advantage actually provided.
And if at worse you have another old game you did, to compile with it and make me test, I will be glad to check & tell you if it works fine under XP!
Ah yeah, I see that you mean, yeah engine will not help, I though you were refering about "lags & cie" (low FPS).
Yeah the game has slow code of weapons switch then bugs when out of ammo etc. (no "GetNextBestWeapon" called when out of ammo, etc.), the first is probably for realism, because this is not normal you can switch weapon on a fly in a half-second, in real you can not really properly holster your current weapon then deploy a new one so quickly than under Half-Life!
For me it is realistic this way, but I understand this can be annoying if you do not like or are get use to "fast switch" in-game!
As I said someone else before, HL Violet Shift! Hahaha that Violet suit is kind of... special!
Try under Xash3D no? As I said above to @PMDLEADERSHIN.

Oh no!!!!
From that I recall, to make it compatible, you can enable "XP toolset" in options, something like. Please do! Do not make me cry! Hehe!
Because I will not install 7 just for a game (I did not for all the other I would like to so...), and do not play on my netbook having it which is weak and unpleasant!
Good, innovative for more realism!
I also appreciate the fact you put the video also on YouTube, as I run XP & the video system from moddb does not play for me.
To "PMDLEADERSHINX": I personnaly recommend to install Xash3D (the standard one by Uncle Mike, build #4344 or higher), like from there (https://www.moddb.com/engines/xash3d-engine/news/xash3d-oktoberfest-2018), and install all your game mods inside, it is a way better than using old bugged & limited WON official HL client.
And you will have similar interface when launching it.
Then you can even create .bat or .exe shortcut in your folder, then add as target something like (you can remove the "-dev" parameter to avoid printing dev warnings in the top-left while playing):
"F:\Xash3D #4344\hl.exe" -game delta_mod -console -log -dev
Rather than launching HL, then search & activate the mod in the section "Custom game".
I install & play all of the singleplayer mods on it.
However, to XF-Alien, I started playing it (I am still a bit after the area where we found the yellow crowbar), I like it very well, nice work, this is the kind of SP games I like to play, besides new weapons is something I like to discover too in new SP games, we just missing English voices despite some Russian words/sentences are funny to hear, but at least we have the sentences written in English for the HUDs!
But maybe try implementing more HD models for characters could have been an asset to make it look even better!
Yeah, after the guard used his eyes to enable it, the door will not open, but it does when the guard moved toward the door after opening it.
Try to make move the security guard toward it, it should open.
