The delay repair / upgrade might be more useful if they could be stacked (and that is a vanilla not a mod issue as far as I know).
As it is select one thing, then gotta wait the time for the next thing wanted done, so that waiting to achieve some form of immersion just seems "gimmicky frustrating."

Hmm this is eye-opening and explains why players generally have a knife in the beginning and not have to buy one (nor, if I recall correctly, can it be taken in a mugging), is the crash possibility true for binoculars not present as well?

I realize I'm replying to something several years old, but one of these questions is what others may want to know as well.

For the location of the Pause menu it is located in GameDefault.sga
GameAssets\Data\ui\textures\space_marines\hud\pause_menu

I have been having some success in editing the Pause menu in SKIRMISH removing the background (background.dds; so it is transparent, easier to see around) and shrinking the button.dds series so it is not as large.

In the Campaign the Pause menu background does not want to disappear so it may be another graphic somewhere i have not identified

Cool (the story I mean, I gather you are still working on the new mutants inserted into questlines)

On the other thing, the 24/7 mutant attack discussed earlier.

From looking at the code, it does not look like 24/7 can easily be placed in there without a rewrite.

It MIGHT be possible to dupe the code, and that would mean probably the whole file; paste it to the existing file the change to time for another spawn period during the day with the new mutants and see if that works.

Wish there was a way to replace Sisters with this side in the main gaime as Witch Hunters has Sisters plus "We are the Law!"

Unification has also added "Judge Dredd" type character, I do not know if you can update with that, etc, Unification, while amazing, is a megagig install monster (20.+ Gig install) and sometimes one just wants to quick match without all the load times.

Im guessing that there is win conditions that are being added by some of the other sides that are conflicting.

My suggestion is edit the CombinerMod.module to exclude the sides you do not normally use and see if that works

Also the DOW Mod manager and merge mods, but also can have a problem with adding more and more sides after awhile (i limited it to ONLY the sides I planned to use and made extra modules for each side combination)

FYI Unification is good, with quality of life stuff and helps, ie code to prevent planes from getting stuck and retreat button and options; but there IS a lot of overhead and it takes a while to load maps and things

I did not like much the EC music so I downloaded
Indiedb.com

then copied over the names of the music files in the Emperors_Children\Data\sound\music and also loadmusic
to the ones in the download (.fda files were renamed)
then replaced the EC music folders with it.
Then the music from the ultimate-apocalypse-mod-music-replacer played instead.
I did the same with the WH music substituting their.fda files over some of the EC music (renaming them the same as EC).
There might be a better way of doing it but it was fast and not that complicated.

FYI for the untutored
UNZIP
Campaign Missions, CampaignMissions.module, DXP2Dummy.module install into Soulstorm folder (X:\..MyInstallPath\...\Dawn of War Soulstorm\)

use DOW ModManager installed there to activate
From menu Select "Campaign"
When game opens select Campaign
and original campaign (Campaign 1) and cutscenes will appear for original DOW campaign.

If you have Steam version there is likely a scar error in 1st mission. According to another conversation( Moddb.com ), this scar error will not probably appear in nonSteam version or stop from mission completion,

I had the error as am on Steam, restarted the mission, used "Optional 1st mission if you've got error folder files " which is opened and its data folder is dragged into Campaign Missions folder (let it overwrite).

And as above in 1st paragraph, no errors!

This is NOT a mod that is activated with an xxxx.module.
These tend to go into the DXP2\Data of each respective game where there is already nothing to overwrite on a new install (in Steam at least) unless another mod put something in there by the same name.

If you uninstall, compare files for what is in the archive and delete them out of their respective folders

There is still a need for this, maybe not in comprehensive mods but if one is not using those mods, yes a continual need.

Unification has gone far beyond what it was in 2017 weighting out now in 2023 at 24.7 Gig install (going to need easily 17.0 gig more to accommodate download files , so easily 41 gig, better have 50-60 gig free just because).

Also because of all the items Unification has, load times are a lot longer and graphics have to be turned down else one can be treated to out of memory errors in the log files IE:

SPOOGE -- 4081.00MB available texture memory
Error: E_OUTOFMEMORY
SPOOGE -- 0.00MB available texture memory

These disappear if I set graphics to medium or low and or reduce number of sides being played.... just follow Unification troubleshooting performance guide Dawn-of-war-unification-mod.fandom.com.

I do not think Bugfix requires any such guide and it downloads at around 72mb expanding out to 280-300mb install (add around 500mb to copy over movies from DXP2).

So I for one, definitely encourage continual Soulstorm Bugfix mod development and updates!

I always thought ManGun, Mangun, Man Gun etc was a great name for a character in that world. A bit underutilized perhaps as he has no singularly unique story quests and is squeezed into an obscure seam of the game where he is easy to be overlooked by players.

Yes, the counter got screwed by the muggings/inventory removal as well

What did you do for the Rhons' repack? I probably will add a version for that.

The removal of sound is intriging, I left that alone since to me it DID seem to be working (but I did not know actually how effective, but to me i notice if enemy sound bar moved, an enemy is about to jump...), did you remove it in the graphic or the XML?
