Thanks for the support! I just wanted to say that we truly really appreciate your time and that we'll rely heavily on your answers in the next few months when we start the Orange Box port.

That's great to hear Te5la! The more the better. And thanks for your kind review :)
We're starting on a weekly game-day on Saturdays (read more here: Eternal-silence.net), so we'll probably drop by your server and say hi later today.
We've spent a lot of time looking into possible engines. There's a few critical flaws with the Alien-Swarm version which makes it undesirable for Eternal-Silence - sadly! Nothing would make me happier than releasing a free version of ES. I'd be happy to write up the details, but we have weighed a lot of possibilities against each other, and the Orange Box version just came out the strongest.
Great idea! Actually we thought about arranging that at some point, but so far it's come down to nothing really. You're not the only one pointing this out, so I've started a thread on the forums: Eternal-silence.net Drop by when you can!
And thanks for all the great feedback guys! We truly appreciate it! Hopefully a new update will be out next week with more improvements. I hope you'll like it :)
Would you mind considering to post it on the forums? We're very keen to get bugs fixed asap! Eternal-silence.net
Hear hear! Great insight NoX.. I just realized that I didn't know half of the story. Thanks for keeping the enthusiasm up!
Don't forget the writers and the sound dep. :P
I'm glad you came out of the closet with a blog post Kage. Well spoken! There's truly been placed lots of work in the update and it's truly a good job!
A new release is coming up monday! Stay tuned for more. We're upping the effort a lot in the E-S universe, so trust me when I say it's worth the time :)
Thanks! :) We're really excited about this.. Hopefully we can get ES closer to it's real potential. We're going to start posting a lot more recently and giving you much more updates. In a few weeks we'll post the full dev plan.
