Wow, you know you're in good shape when someone can see your screen shots and know the exact scene and lines being said at in the corresponding movie.
Good stuff.

I forgot about this one actually...good stuff, good to see an update.
Great mod on HL1, can't wait for some PR on source.
I agree with TwiN. Models are excellent.
The "ruin" pick is pretty nice. There's something about where the structure meets the ground that seems off to me. I don't know, I'm not a mapper and I know you guys are still early into this. Good luck, and keep up the good work.
Some of the best concept art I've seen for a mod. Beats the **** out of that anime pencil drawing concept art, that's for ******* sure.
It's funny. Recognizing a character from another game is lawlable. It's not the best thing in the world or anything, but something to get a chuckle from.
Haha. Is that Claude Speed?
So we can expect Distraction:RP servers too...
The hands are intentionally huge. Looks awesome.
Played a few hours earlier. Very fun.
I love the idea of a "realistic" zombie mod. Good stuff.
Cool style, pretty good gameplay...I beat it in about 45 seconds.
If I didn't read the intro to the game that you guys had posted, I'd have no idea what was going on. Intro movie sounds pretty cool for that. But the game is so ridiculously short, yeah good job and all, but it's not a "full game". I just played a flash game for 2 hours, much much longer than I played this one.
Cool stuff though, I hope you release more levels or any sort of extended gameplay.
Amazing. One of the best half life 1 mods ive ever played. Totally worth trying out, too bad no servers are ever populated.
This mod is pretty sweet, really fun.
my only gripe about it is the screen snagging back to the middle when you shoot. its not recoil, it feels a whole lot like lag, but only while moving the mouse while shooting, hence my only playing with pistol and shottie.
If it's as fun as it looks. No they're not. ND overhyped, and we haven't heard from them in months.
You have to wait for the round to end. The problem is that sometimes the rounds go on too long if the ZM is no good at killing people, and the survivors can't find all of the pieces. Not to mention that sometimes with the patch (2/3 rounds I played today) I'm seeing objects spawn in places where survivors can't get to.
Just wait it a round out, it should take a max of 10 minutes if you join while a round is in progress. (It's better to play with friends who are running a server though, because that way the round can just be restarted when you all get in)
ah, it only takes place in 2040, i missed that. i figured just the setting descriptions and such that it would take place way further in the future.
then yeah, it works, my bad.
now dont get me wrong, i just read about this game, and i think it sounds awesome, like really. but theres one thing that seems kind of off to me.
why would they use a famas in the future when were on other planets and stuff? that would be like making a game now where we still used thommy guns or m1 carbines. the famas model looks great, really, but i dont know. maybe use the famas as a base and change it so it looks like a realistic futuristic weapon (as opposed to the way a lot of games go when making future weapons that looks ridiculous)
its good either way though, its your guys game. keep up the good work.
use the range attack, but when you get in close its just back and forth hitting.
i was just playing SMOD for like 2 hours. i do believe that "red letter day" is a little bit too hard because you dont get a gun to start, and with the penetration... i just didnt find it possible. but if you skip to route canal and start there, i find the game to be highly enjoyable.
its "realistic" in the sense that you have to think to outsmart and defeat the number of enemies coming after you. its unrealistic because you have so many chances that it becomes more of a puzzle shooter than a "simulation" i guess ill say. not saying that as a bad thing in anyway though.
i loved replaying the same thing to try to figure out how to pass. you have to find where there is cover, sometimes fight backwards to where there is cover when the combine are coming from behind. unlike in normal half life 2 where you can just run right through, or stand out in the open and take out 5 guys. i love the fact that one guy can kill me. its great. the peaking out feature is really great too. it helps you determine where to hide, which enemy to attack first, what would be horrible cover, etc.
the only thing that i found to be too hard was the beginning of red letter day, just because there was no way to really fight back. great great mod, i love it more than the last release.
i want to play a game where getting shot at is "dangerous". i hate being the super hero with seemingly infinite health. im downloading this now, and im excited :-D
i think its pretty friggin buggy, almost to the point of not playable.
the only map that worked for me was sandcastle, and it was an awesome map. the fighting needs to be...just funner. it feels like playing pvp in an mmo. and there needs to be some sort of tutorial, or hints and tips, or something. i read the guide on the website and i still didnt know exactly how to do anything. and the different slots need to be defined in game, i read what they do on the site, but it was just too much to remember, so i stuck to slot 1 and 2.
but i really do see potential, the music is really nice, the style of the game is different, in a really great way. the idea's are there, i love spawning as a larva. and the game does actually skeeve me out a bit at times (which is a good thing)
defiantly up there in mods though, great ideas, and i know its a first release, so im expecting some much better stuff, and i think itll easily be achieved.
I didn't think they looked all that great until I looked at the enlarged pictures. They look great, I love the textures. Good job.
