Soviet Hungary and Slovakia united into a federal republic. As far as how they retained Slovakia, the Hungarians were able to gain the upper hand against the Czechoslovak Army in May-June 1919 due to incursions by the German Red Army in Bohemia.

Hungary will have multiple routes. The Hungarian Soviet government is full of nationalists, many of whom are angry over the independence of Slovakia as well as the loss of Hungarian land. They will be able to go nationalist as a result if the communist government does not maintain its grip. By default, as they are in the Comintern, they will be involved in this timelines version of World War II.

We currently have a developer for Spain who is from Spain. There isn't much to show off yet, but a major part of the lore is that the Spanish Civil War has already occurred in this timeline during the 1920's. Spain is still recovering from that and is under a military dictatorship at the start which will see some major troubles almost immediately after the start of the game.

As far as Korea, they will have a major insurgency. As far as the Qing, unlikely. The closest you will get is Manchukuo which can only be formed by one of many paths Japan has.

Yes, the warlords will be facing wars with each other very early on in the game. The KMT will be able to take advantage of this, and so will Japan.

Yes, a major objective if not THE major objective for Hungary will be reclaiming Alföld. Romania can alternatively choose to negotiate handing it over through multiple ways which is covered in the Romania progress report.

There is no Treaty of Trianon in this timeline. The Hungarian Soviet survived due to spillovers in Czechia from the German Civil War preventing them from invading Slovakia. Additionally, Romania was warned off from going beyond the Tisza due to the encroaching Soviet Red Army and internal conflicts in Yugoslavia. They were later able to occupy Vovjodina when war broke out between the fledgling Yugoslavia and Italy.

Serbia is under the Karađorđević dynasty led by Alexander II (or Alexander I of Yugoslavia in OTL). They lost a brief war with Italy, known as the "Adriatic War", shortly after the German Revolution, which prevented the realization of Yugoslavia. Illyria is under Krešimir V, who is actually Prince Amedeo, Duke of Aosta. Through this, Illyria has very close ties to Italy. The two states continue to hold a rivalry and both face internal opposition movements.
