Hi there! I like to play classic C&C games such as Red Alert series, Tiberium series, Generals and mods for these games. I've made Russian translations for GZH mods I like: "Rise of the Reds", "Shockwave" and "Operation:Firestorm", and that's not going to be the end. Creativity of other people inspires me greatly, and I learn from them even though I'm not going to make my own mod. This feeling when you create something and it works is wonderful.

You have some ingenious pics here, man. That GLAINFANTRYFAKERIDER rocks, but this one? Oh boy! Did I LMFAO! Great, just great! Did you do it by yourself? I know you're a tester in the team.

I wish ModDB would add a "new comments" notification somehow.. I've found your comment absolutely accidentally

Thanks, I composed this myself from vZH models and ROTR models, the only custom thing is the ground texture, which is composed from vZH terrain textures + default Photoshop texture for tread tracks + some white stripes drawn in Photoshop. Red canisters are borrowed from ATV Humvee, hope they don't mind :D

The previous version didn't look that good though:

It's ok. They send e-mails, but who's gonna go and dig one out of a gazillion?
I suppose it's boring and time-consuming, but I would really like to see more of these things. That Jean-Claude Van Damme-style conscript on Sentinels breaches the stratosphere! It would be wonderful to see some news-like pics or even videos, if it's possible and you're willing. Why not start a thread on SWR with this stuff? Guys will absolutely love it. All the best, brother! :-)

That was Boris, not Conscript :P

I would start a tread if I did stuff like that on a regular basis, but I'm making such things when inspiration comes, so why make a tread if you're not going to fill it? 2 pictures don't seem to worth it.
This one was inspired by that scene with a Rebel maintaining a Technical (you can see that picture on Doomhammer's streams) made by The_Hunter, I was amazed and thought "can I do something like that?". So I've made this. Plus, I simply love the design of this tank :D I had one more scene in plans, but due to problems with my PC I can't implement it. I would post some arts though, but I can't draw :D

D'oh! Actually, I too was admiring those Sentinels, so I didn't pay attention. :P
Anyway, at least it's here. I do hope you get more inspiration and do more stuff so we can start that thread. Those Sents seriously are great. I play with Russia, most of the time anyway. Damn, it would be good to see Russia getting them one day.

What is this GLAINFANTRYFAKERIDER bug? I don't think I've encountered it before.

This picture is absolutely crack-up by the way Damfoos, good job.

It's not a bug, its a feature. Although I'm not sure I understand it correctly, so picture and info below can be irrelevant. Basically, this is a joke about how much units in ROTR work because of Bike logic - a coding trick which allows you to change unit appearance and weapon set in one click, by coding the unit as a Combat bike. Combat bikes change their stats depending on their rider/driver, you can see it when use GLA combat bikes. But not only GLA bikes are in fact bikes. Almost every unit which change its appearance upon weapon switch is a bike too! Shocktroopers, Pioneers, RPG VDV troopers and many, many others. But since a dude entering another dude would look weird, the actual riders for these units are invisible, and called "fake riders", or "generic riders". When you press a weapon switch button, one invisible rider replaces another. Also, you can find these riders as objects in worldbuilder, search for them in SYSTEM category of respective factions, though they may be located in other categories too.

Ha, that's fascinating, I never even knew. I'd like to think I've been tracking RotR long enough to pick up on that sort of thing.
