Zap Zombies is is a fun, free clicker-style RPG available now on the App Store. If you’ve ever played a game like Tap Titans, you know the cathartic fun of tap, tap, tapping your to defeat endless waves of enemies. So, what makes Zap Zombies one that you should try?
Zombies, obviously. Whether you are a fan of shows like The Walking Dead, or games like Left 4 Dead, zombie fans will love this game. What better way to get your fix of slaying the zombie horde on the go than with a fun iOS game? Kill some zombies while you kill time in the line at the DMV.
Cool survivors. Your team of survivors, tasked with taking on the epic invasion, are totally awesome. Jason, Amy, Kurt, Ed and Larry all bring unique abilities and weapons to the fight. Kurt’s hefty crossbow and Fatality ability that provides extra critical percentage chance are particularly helpful versus high health bosses.
Epic bosses. Mixed in with the waves of brain-eating fiends are some particularly big baddies at the end of each stage. These bosses require you to click super fast and use lots of power-ups to beat them before the timer runs out. If you aren’t quick enough, you’ll have to start over again. And they are also pretty creepy looking too, especially the zombie clown featured in our boss fight trailer.
Trophies. When you complete certain achievements in the game, such as obtaining 10B Enzymes, you can earn Crystals, the premium currency in the game. You can then use these to buy boosters that shorten cooldown times, or even earn more Enzymes offline.
RPG abilities. As you blast away zombies (and when you unlock the Mine at level 10) you’ll earn lots of gold. You can spend this gold in the Lab to upgrade the ability of your choice. Go with Zombology for a flat damage percentage boost or adjust your critical with Marksmanship and Weapons. Upgrade your Enzyme to get more of the good stuff you need to make your survivors even more powerful.
