It has a FOV that is so much better than the Hololense. They've still got some work to do on their tracking, but this headset has a tonne of promise.

This looks like lots of classic fun. I'm a little surprised they didn't spend a tad more time polishing their backdrops, particle effects and textures, but the game play looks good.
Oh wow, that's awesome. You've cut out the middle man. I'd love to be able to do that, but we're time-constrained and don't have the dedicated expertise to manage it all ourselves. Thanks for the insight. :)
Good work - I love it. Can I ask what you're using for scaling the site? Docker containers/app engine/AWS?
Yes, that surprised me about their tech. I was expecting an immersive experience once using the headset, but you've only got a very small FOV.
That's only for the first 10 minutes of going up for preorder. I assume that the preorders will be something of an inverse bell curve - most coming in the first few days and then petering out to a trickle within a couple of months. My generous estimates put the Vive's sales for two months somewhere in the region of 80,000 - 120,000 units. That's not too shabby, especially considering most users will buy their fair share of content.
