the expensive ones that they sell at retail stores is real sucky,i guess its better to use an old rag shirt and use what the great outdoors has to offer on it,like Dry Pakistani Grass for Desert environments
Lol yeah, if you ask me it's much better to create an homemade ghillie than spending a lot of cash on a sucky thing (plus we have the advantage of being able to fully customize it to our intended environment thus making it much more effective and completely affordable since it's made of basic materials).
I like to call ghillie suits the "chewbacca suits", after the star wars thing ( Guerrestellari.it ) XD
Lol ^^ yeah, once I was playing a 2 vs 2 airsoft battle (defenders vs attackers) and I was on a roof (providing suppressive "fire" and drawing the other team's attention so my teammate could flank them), I accidentally hit the other teams sniper (with a 6mm BB spray'n pray from my M4) and he made a hilarious wookiee-like scream, from there on I began to nickname the adversary snipers as the "chewbaccas" or "wookiees" XD
My standard airsoft weapon is an M4A1 SOPMOD (Special Operations Peculiar Modification) which I heavily modified and upgraded.
During an airsoft match it's usual for me to carry additional accessories like tactical flashlights, hand grip, lasers, and attach them on the weapon on the spot as desired (as the "battlefield" circumstances change).
Well, I like both night and day matches (both have their pros and cons).
Though I'd say the best match I've ever had was at night during a very stormy weather (thunderstorm and heavy rain, that match ended quite late), the thunderstorm sure gave a lot of adrenaline.
The match was about half a day (it started at about 17:00, it started to rain at about midnight (about 23:45) and the thunderstorm begun at 00:50 and ended almost an hour later.
Speaking of which a friend (and fellow airsoft player) also asked me to take some photos for possible future use in The Art of War artwork, I haven't played airsoft lately (been preparing my MG36 Project - Moddb.com) but I think I'll have some new pics coming up soon (summer is coming and everyone is likely to have extra free time to play lol).
A custom Ghillie Suit and a camouflaged Remington 700 sniper rifle, the camo was made by a friend, that specific camo was specially adapted for the area where we play airsoft.

Nice suite just like call of duty 4 xD
Is the weapon realy a sniper?
Thanks ^^
Yeah, the weapon is a Remington 700 bolt action sniper rifle (which is also included in Call of Duty 4 as the "R700").
Note that's a 6mm airsoft rifle (used to play MilSim - military simulation matches like airsoft).
You can notice the rifle's scope covered with camo.

"Her" (M4) name is Betsy :)
What when do you play the most? Night with lasers or Midday?
