Try to reinstall Edain Mod. Have you tried to turn the mod off and see if the problem still persists in the original game? If not, then I'd say there is some conflict with the Mod.

Do you get any error message? Are you opt out of the game or is your game freezing? Any details left out with what you see during and after the crash?

True and when I do play castle it is usually an offensive faction like Mordor and Isengard where you do not have huge walls surrounding your citadel!

I play camp maps more, because of the cheap mini towers. Especially when you're Gondor or Dwarves and upgrade additional firepower.

Try playing at 1600 x 1200 resolution. Fixed many related crash reports for me, might work for you aswell.

Edain would crash frequently whenever I played it on 1920 x 1080 resolution. Changing it to max. 1600 x 1200 (or anything below that) solved it for me. I have tried to lower graphics to it's minimum but this did not resolve the crashing for me.

Note: Edain froze;the screen, and I was unable to navigate anything on the device, and had to reboot it. Might be a different problem but give it a try if else does not work.

I think it is reasonable for people to question the current state of the project when you're looking at the time in between the first announcement of 4.5 till now. Is it a negative way how people react? Not necessarily. It shows people still care about this mod and are eager to see what progress is being made. Even if it includes something like a hero gaining a new armour set or what ever changes have been made; let people know that something is happening. A weekly update perhaps? This will decrease these kind of question by a large margin.

And I hear people saying; 'The mod is free why are you complaining? Let it take another several years!' (Exeggaration)

While I do agree with this, I also have to say; The team have created a great mod for Battle for Middle Earth which many are still playing today along with a respectful amount of supporters, and this takes responsibility with it.

Nonetheless, I do agree that patience is the key.

Will stationary archers be included in the upcoming update? With this I mean, that archers shoot whenever an enemy is in sight but do not move from their position to follow the enemy.

Hey, so I'm trying to play Arnor: Mount Gram with both Gondor and Angmar but with the same result, the build spots dissapear after aprox. 8 seconds. Is this a known bug and can it be fixed?

'Area Of Effect'. For example, the arrow volley skill from Mordor, Gondor etc. hits multiple targets at once. The orc's from Mordor are in general quite weak so areal damage would suffice. A hero like Gandalf for example, would be efficient for its many AoE skills.

Cavarly, AoE, Ranged & Heroes. There isn't really one specific way to handle a faction. I personally like to play Rohan against Mordor, to use the farmers as the front shield and the Rohirrim to lower the vast ranks. Heroes to counter Nazgul's, trolls etc.

Got some sweet news for those who enjoyed the movies, or perhaps even those who prefered the books. Anyway;

It has been confirmed that LoTR will have a five season show running. Rumors say that the first season will be about young Aragorn.

Not much details have been revealed as of yet, but I'm personally hoping for a silmarillion series. If it is, there's no way it can be shown in just five seasons. We'll see.

I must admit I too desire the most notorious faction of all Middle-Earth. Long have I awaited to slaughter an armored troll from Mordor with Bilbo Baggings, to charge into enemy lines with an army of powerful hobbit unicorns, just like the great Rohan charge in the Pelennor fields in Gondor. Yes, it is time. I am glad to see fellow Hobbit supporters in this realm. But beware of Sauron's greatest servant, the blue wizard named 'dkbluewizard', who wishes nothing but that Hobbits stay hidden away in little Hobbiton.
