Well my apologies Sol, I think I saw you in a server today, anyway my apologies, I might seem like a troll but I'm not. Your mod is plain awesome. There are a lot of good things about it. However, I'm not going to abandon my roleplay/trench idea. I saw some maps with little trenches (to me and then I saw a huge one like somme.
I understand that many people would find trenches boring. There are a few like myself that asked the trench question. So all Im asking is hopefully you will develop more maps that will please both sides in your next release.

All I was saying was there should be a way for server admins, to decide whether or not to put trenches on their server if trenches are available for ww1 source.
And sol himself confirmed that there will be a way so Im happy...

The main reason why this great mod is dead, is because the dev team has moved on to their retail games.
If only they updated and promoted their mod more, then the community will be bigger.
It's a shame to see only 7 servers filled with nobody.

We just want some realistic gameplay, gameplay that has changed bg2 and made it popular.
Im sure the ww1 source team will deliver what we're asking for, so in the meantime cool yourself off

You have to realize, that a lot of people like a certain amount of realism in their games.
I know that the team will do that. And thats why I take back everything I said

I dont see very many trenches, It starting to feel like a ww1 mod there, but without the actual use of trench warfare I dont see it happening.

I dont see much teamplay work at all or the use of trench warfare...
At least this is just the alpha and at least the theme and shadows looks very nice
