Yes you can build buildings on buildings. It has some interesting effects when it comes to stacking npc buildings.

The only game mode planned at the moment is single player/co-op multiplayer where you defend the castle together. There will be a video up today or tomorrow explaining all the planned features.

Yeah, there's definitely some base defense elements prominent in the game. I'd argue that its more micro than macro though. You can definitely play the macro game and spend most of your time making traps and defensive buildings - we want that to be a viable choice for players.

Thanks for the feedback! We've been busy working on it for the past couple weeks and will have a new video going up by the end of the day PST with new art, fog of war, and (hopefully) some basic enemies!
