of course it is ;). We don't release a mod unless it is both SSP and SMP compatible. The way we see it, the real allure of minecraft is it's multi-player capabilities which make it possible to easily share and create. We don't want to take that away from the game.

A mac version of BMS was released recently. Get it and enjoy ;)

I don't know why you guys had problems, but, I just tested the recipes and they worked for me. Did you ever get them working?

technically yes, but, in old worlds if you run far enough to let new world generate then the new ores should generate. I would suggest a new world though.
