The models are too low detail to be used for decent cutscenes, but if I get around to making textures for them, I'll see about making a cutscene or two in it.

Very sorry for the lack of updates, had a lot of stuff going on over the summer and now I've got college, but I've set up my schedule so that I have a little bit more free time than I did while getting ready for college. Thanks for any patience you guys have had with the mod.
If you read the description, I already knew that it looked a little over-sized. I have a scaled down sprite for it now, but the iscript is a little glitchy.
I don't understand what you're saying by icon. If you mean the sprites, they're my design. If you mean the portrait, I downloaded it from Maplantis. If you mean the blue button set, I just recolored the palette.
And I know it may sound rude right now, but could you please use full words and proper grammar from now on when you are posting a comment.
As for textures, I don't have any and I'm no good at making any. I plan to at least have the models done as much as possible before adding textures though, so I don't have to alter the model too much to fit the textures.
And yeah, I was thinking of making the buttons a brighter/different color.
This was before I made an iscript for it. It was borrowing from the Selveris for a shadow and script. The current version has the correct shadow and updated stats.
I'm currently working on a better version of it. I don't like the legs and I'm trying to find a better way to mount the guns rather than just latching them to the side.
This is looking pretty nice man, but could you tell me how you got the hatchery to spawn Larva on these maps? I need to make a building for a side project of mine do a similar thing.
I tried opening one of you maps in World Edit to find out and it overloaded World Edit and crashed it.
Oops, replied to the wrong comment.
I'm using the map editor to make a prototype. As soon as my friend and I satisfied with the number of units (there will be a lot) and abilities of all of my units, I'll make an actual mod. I'm not going to post a mod page for it on ModDB until I have the prototype finished.
Hey, I'm wondering if anyone here can give me some advice on a WarCraft III mod I'm making (I don't have a page for it yet, so don't look.) I need to make a building that rapidly produces a unit, but only so many of them. Currently I just have the building set to sell the units with a max limit of what I need. I thought you could help with this because the Zerg Hatchery/Lair/Hive behave in a similar fashion to what I need.
Also, great job on the mod. I look forward to seeing its completion. I saw the video, it looked great. Apart from a few different colors, UI features and textures, it looked like it was an actual a game of StarCraft in 3D.
I'm still working on a few things for it. I want as many bugs out of it as soon as possible before I let anyone outside of the team touch a copy of the mod.
Thank you for including the Akira, it's my favorite ship in the Star Trek universe (closely seconded by the Sovereign.)
I look forward to seeing the completion of this mod.
Ah. I just run a virtual PC with 1.15.0 on it. My mod was originally going to have a few extra units, but I had to cut them because I wanted this mod to work without anything apart from a copy of StarCraft Brood War.
Not to mention that FireGraft wasn't very co-operative with me. It would crash halfway through saving for some reason. "ERROR EEFACE" or something like that.
This looks real nice. How are you adding the extra buttons?
The only thing I know that can do this is FireGraft, but Blizzard's 1.15.1 update made that tool obsolete within two months of its public release.
I don't mean to sound rude or angry, but in all honesty, it sounds like you rushed v4 out.
The only thing I do like about the new layout is that I can see my username easier. It used to be dark grey on black and my old monitor made it 100% impossible to see it then.
Personally I liked the old one much better.
I actually made an animation of it transforming and uploaded it to Youtube. I just added the link in the image description.
That looks freaking awesome.
Jaze, the name of the ship is in the description (white text under the image)
It's not easy to fit at other camera angles with the odd shape. I'll mess around with the camera angle for a little bit and see what I can get.
The way things are going right now, we should have a playable public version by January hopefully, but until then just be patient. I'm almost done with a team only alpha version, just need to wait for a set of units from the new guy on the team.
Also, that was quite an ignorant comment to place because there is a field on the panel at the right that says the estimated release date.
It has been scaled down slightly, it gets a bit clumsy building a lot because they block the star port off after you build three at that size.
I'm making my own perspective because I can't figure out the proper angle that Blizzard used in StarCraft.
No, I can understand where you made the mistake. I only had models of flying units, nothing ground based.
This is because I don't have a modeler for ground units yet and I lack the skills to model people. I'll probably post a help request once I start getting some drawings of the Kamadoray and Krom from their respective designers.
This isn't just a fleet based mod, I just don't have any infantry or ground unit models available yet.
Blizzard is still going to keep Battle.net open to StarCraft when SC2 comes out. Blizzards is still probably going to make patches, so I think they'll still support the original StarCraft for a few more years (hopefully longer.)
My mod was unaffected by the 1.15.0 patch, so I will keep going with it.
The problem with a digital copy is that if your hard drive breaks, then you have to buy a new copy. Digital distribution is great for free stuff because if you lose it, you can just re-download it.
Besides, boxed games come with a cool cover.
Great mod, but I have to downgrade my install of StarCraft to play it. It crashes a little bit as well. It had nice graphics and some interesting features. Although I never could figure out what the Breen Counter measure did. All in all, nice mod, but it died a while ago.
By the way, Clonest, the mod has been available for download there for a while, I downloaded it there (Alpha D) about a year ago. The last news post on their site was made in June of 2004, the mod is dead. They just want to leave it up for those who still like it.
No, this mod is not dead, we're just working on stuff that's not ready to present yet.
I'm sorry, but vince558, you are ungrateful towards this great game. You want better graphics? In it's time, StarCraft's graphics were awesome. This isn't some new just released game with hyper realistic graphics. This game doesn't need graphics to be fun. Now sure, graphics are nice, but I pay more attention to game play. I wouldn't play a game if it looked so realistic you couldn't tell the difference if it had cruddy game play. And StarCraft: Ghost was canceled to my knowledge.
In a way, I hope they make a second StarCraft, but at the same time I'm worried that it won't be all that great, Blizzard made some pretty big shoes to fill with this game. Sequels are usually cursed to fail for some reason, usually because the companies get big and resort to the franchise more than the actual game.
