Day 412: no sign of life. This planet is desolate, and if it weren't for the gravitational field and (barely)breathable air, I would assume it were uninhabitable as well. I have not yet had a reply to any one of my beacons, and I fear the worst- I plan to take my own life after my food supply expires, I see no point in waiting for a painful death. I can't believe it's been an entire year already...
Day 413: I have met a curious looking hairy red creature who has a remarkable grasp of the English language, despite his high voice and obvious mental inferiority. He didn't seem to grasp the concept of food or drink when I asked for supplies. The creature has invited me to some sort of festivity tonight, I shall go and try to survive with his people as long as it takes for a rescue party to arrive.
Day 144: OH GOD THE INFERNAL COUNTING, WHY WOULDN'T HE STOP COUNTING. I don't know what this is, but it's scaring the hell out of me. None of the red creature's kin look like it- they are all oddly deformed, and talk in slow and often high pitched drawls. Their leader reminded me of old vampire stories, and upon my arrival, ordered the creatures around me to hold my body down in his odd Transylvanian accent. He stood over me and began counting. At first it was slightly humorous, but as it went on, the horror of the interaction took hold. 17 4 1 13 I CANNOT COUNT ANYMORE, HE HAS SUCKED THE KNOWLEDGE FROM MY VERY BEING! I was able to narrowly escape their dungeon with the help of a small gree- OH GOD THEIR POUNDING ON THE DOOR- I HAVEN'T MUCH TIME, PLEASE, IF YOU'RE LISTENING, LEAVE, LEAVE BEFORE THEY FIND YOU, LEAVE BEFORE THEY- *end transmission*
