Enjoy!
Let me clear some things up here. First, how about you don't twist and pervert the facts? The guest had it correct.
The name was never intended to 'steal merit', and I made sure everyone was credited in multiple areas. (The front page here, the images here, the main forum thread, the readme, etc.) Except for one member, nobody really cared about the name, and that whole situation has since been resolved.
During that whole fiasco though, the mod was reported for copyright infringement and you used that opportunity to take control of this mod page. As a direct result, the mod can no longer be uploaded to ModDB. The beta has already released on Runestorm, and the full mod is already available (in modified versions) on the LDG and ABA servers.
Development on the mod has indeed been suspended due to the aforementioned issues and my lack of free time due to a full time job and university duties.
Sorry, I'd reply to you, but somebody keeps deleting my comments.
While I was never notified on the exact reasons, I believe it was taken down due to copyrighted sounds. The mod uses a lot of heavily modified sounds that sample some game sounds, which sits in a gray area of fair use.
Oddly enough, you can still find V8 of the mod as well as the Jack Carver pack (which I worked on the sounds for and presumably would be in the same situation). You'd have to ask the admin staff for more detail.
Holy moly! I'm surprised these are still around! I made these textures like 6 years ago, haha.
Sorry folks, but the mod was reported for copyright infringement and I was forcibly removed from control of the page, so there will no longer be any more content drops here. As a result and due to real life pressures like full time work, mod production will be stopping or at least heavily slowing.
I'll probably be releasing a final public beta sometime soon on the Runestorm forums. It's been a fun ride guys, and I hope you all had as much fun playing it as we did creating it!
Two of those are already made, but I won't say which. ;)
Hi! First you will need to install Ballistic Weapons V2.5 and then Weapon Drop #1. You can install them by dragging and dropping them into your UT2004 folder. :)
Yep! I'm planning on adding that functionality for V10's final release.
The orange katana is part of Kaboodle's balance pack, and the player model is the UT2004 Doom Trooper player model. :)
If you have Weapon Drops 1 and 2 you already have the new format, so you won't have to uninstall anything. :)
And nope, we're currently focusing on BW, but we do have other plans in motions!
Be advised, weapon drops 4 AND 4 are inbound!
That's likely intended, the GRSXX has low recoil for all of its fire modes since it is a super weapon.
Are you using the fixed core? I believe Azarael coded it so that the projectiles have an arming delay, and as such they will bounce if you shoot a nearby target.
Be advised, Weapon Drops 2 AND 3 are inbound.

TOP SECRET APRIL WEAPONDROP:
Rapidshare.com
Unfortunately, I got sick. The February Update will be more of a March-ish Update. :p
We may or may not have something among those lines coming into the mod. ;)
February's update will be delayed due to some team members getting sick, unfortunately.
Hooray for unforeseen consequences! This version of the mod was compiled on a custom fixed core, which is breaking certain functions!
Dependencies removed. Should be fully functional.
There may be a dependency on V9's sound pack, our test servers must have had that hidden in while we were testing it.
Don't forget to clear your System\BWCache.ini and System\BallisticV25.ini files if you're updating from V9! Your Ballistic installs will need to do this to break the their links to V9.
V10.026 WD1 Confirmed and Authorized. Engage at discretion.
Suppres *cough* LASER, check!
@Unshame: The color of the background shows whether or not the model is fully textured, partially textured, or simply rendered.
@LeMercMan: It's an incendiary rocket launcher. ;)
@Steddy96: The first weapon drop will pretty much be the trial version, since it comes with the mutators and other fun stuff.
The pump-action shotgun will still be in the mod (M763), though the semi-auto version of that gun (M781) is getting updated.
Update inbound!
The latest version (V5) should have a fixed ironsight. I'm seeing a whole bunch of YouTube videos with no sight, so I'm assuming not many people have upgraded. :P
