It's a timeless classic and the one Sci-fi that for some reason when it got films... all three productions..(and i say three because there is a cheapo rip off film that came out around same time as Tom Cruise's verison) took A LOT of liberties with the story that they only share minimum things in common with the actual story. But each did something good.

Though in it's defense the cheapo one was the only one of the three that actually did the insane priest part of the story and had his fate end up the same as the books.

To use the War of the Worlds speech... bravo I loved that book.

I think Romulans are very tsundere towards the Klingons they only break the ceasefires so their senpai will notice them, then when Klingon-senpai does notice tsundere mode kicks in and they hide their true feelings by being all denial.

Such a shame but I understand, I do hope you create ship and weapon packs with the assets you created they were beautiful and Stellaris does need a little more variety in ships and weaponry, feels weird seeing another race using pretty much the same ships and weapons as me.

I had more thoughts over Mass Driver tech in Star Wars. During the time of the Zann's use they would be incredibly outdated and mean Zann should be slow to mobilize their forces and means they are no good in long drawn out battles.

Ships that fire actual ammunition actually need places to store the said ammo on ships and places to re-supply even if there is an entire criminal underground working for you, you still need the facilities to supply forces in mass. Now compare that to the conventional energy weapons of the time that don't need resupply that is a severe disadvantage, since that means Imperial and Rebel forces have much more flexibility than your own. The mass drivers only saving grace was the fact they aren't effected by ray shields... but even the countermeasure for such weapon is simple just add more armour. A fan theory could be that the Tector class Star Destroyer was created from this.

Think of all that wasted space on the ships that fire mass drivers they could of added more facilities to improve their ships performance. Due to ammo restraints too to get roughly the same performance as the conventional star destroyers and star cruisers a mass driver type battleship would have to be at least be twice the size of a star destroyer just to accommodate more ammo for longer battles and to have the same facilities as said star destroyer.

True for the Freedom and Niagara but they also share with the Galaxy so I saw them more of a staging point between the Ambassador and Galaxy. Though I completely forgot about the Rigel.

I guess Excelsior is the safest bet since there is so many of them. But part of me always hoped to see some more stuff from that time period and see other ship classes get some spotlight time. I can't help but feel pre-Enterprise-D/Galaxy class and Post-Excelsior there aren't enough ships.

Like the Ambassador why are there no off shoots of that like there is the Excelsior(Curry and Centaur) and Galaxy(The kitbashed fleet).

I wonder what class of ship the Rutledge was that O'brien got to serve on. I mean the ship was still in service when he was transferred to the Enterprise-D and then to DS9/Defiant since it lead a counterattack on the Klingons during the Federation-Klingon war during DS9.

I am not sure if you have seen but on Steam there is someone posting pictures of a mod that seems to use your UNSC and Covernant ships and particle effects in a mod that also has the Star Wars ships and particles from I think Sins of a Galactic Empire. I dunno if they have permission or anything but I just wanted to point it out in case they stolen the assets.

If memory serves me right I actually remember that you chimed in with Gul when I first reported it. Since it was literally the first random event I got in my first game of TFF and it came straight for me even though there was another race in that system. I have worst luck ever in this mod I need a version solely for me to compensate for my lack of luck with buffs.

I guess it's merely my luck then again I was someone who reported hours after release of final frontier that a Borg cube event somehow spawned and wrecked all my **** really early on. Even Gul was confused at how it was able appear so soon.

Canon is whatever the creators say it is. While it had no on screen mention, in interview it is what they called it. The Valdore ship itself is most likely the ship that was the ship that was the namesake for the entire class.

If on screen appearance means canon then the Millenium Falcon serves in Starfleet due to it's appearance at Battle of sector 001 as a in movie easter egg.

No Valdore class was the name the entire production crew of Star Trek Nemesis designated them. The novels are non-canon as is STO and the TCG game that is why Norexan and Mogai are non-canon names and the only CANON name for them is Valdore as stated by the production crew.

I asked about this ship quite sometime ago when Final Frontier came out since I remember this was shown but couldn't find it in game.

Adamkop does have many interesting designs rather glad one has found it's way here. Though still hopeful that somehow the model used for the Galactic class finds its way in somehow.

Valldusia is smaller in this mod right? given the real Valldusia is... well massive.

Alignment is more and more becoming my favorite faction of all. So many ships I love are in it's roster and now this.
