A 3D tour of my Sabre - Class Battlecruiser. Built and rendered in Google SketchUp 7. Music by Jeremy Soule - Supreme Commander Soundtrack - An Old Idea Made New. (Quite a fitting track I think, as the Sabre is based on an Imperial Star Destroyer. :P) Enjoy!

Apologies for the crappy quality of the video.
HOLY $#!TE... that is the best Battlecruiser i have ever seen.... i dont see how you find the time or patience to make these things....
oh and did i mention... HOLY $#!TE
Thanks to all of you.
@Gunner15: I started to build the Sabre about 2 years ago in year 11 and have been sporadically working on it until now. About my patience...I finish what I start.
(Well, that comment failed...)
yeah.. i have like twenty models that i started then lost patience with them not turning out like I'd plan... and i wish i could say the same about finishing what i start :P
Haha, that has happened to me before...you should have seen the original concept of the Sabre, which I did in my early SketchUp days, it didn't turn out as I planned...it's almost embarrassing now. (Might upload a shot if you promise not to laugh.)
When things didn't work out, I just kept working on them, just trying different things. That's how I ended up with the Lancer, the Sabre and quite a few of the turrets.
Nothing ever goes as planned.
Looks amazing. Excellent job
pure awesomeness... just that
Man, you dont know how bad id love to one of Andromeda. All of the decks, slipfighters, Command. It would be bad ***. Mularac, id have the Battle Blades out. I wish i could model like this.
everyone wishes to model like that. And yeah, that'd be quite a challange, don't think scarecrow?
Indeed. It took some patience and a lot of practise and I'm still no where near as good as some of the other modellers out there, but then again I use SketchUp.
That is an extreme level of awesome. Great work.
Thanks.
