Thanks for the script, I'll give it a go as soon as I have some time for the game.

32-bit Ubuntu here, doesn't start from the Desura client, but I could start the game from the console.
Hi samuelsekandagu,
I've found a bug in the Linux version of Cornerstone. You can find my comment on the game's profile page, but the gist of the thing is that the game doesn't detect the screen resolution correctly. It's as if my screen would only be the lower left quadrant or 1/3 of the viewport. The buttons on the start screen and the menu are where they should be, if you try to click on them, but are displayed someplace else.
BTW do you have a homepage for this game or an issue tracker somewhere?
Apparently I was right: the buttons are where they should be, but they are drawn somewhere else. Is there a way to report these issues to the creators? They don't even have a proper homepage....
I'm on Linux, and the game doesn't detect my screen resolution correctly; it's as if my screen would be just on quarter of the game's viewport. Also it doesn't detect my mouse clicks -- or maybe the buttons are at the right coordinates, and it's only the display that shows them somewhere else? Is there a way to play this game in a window? I could not find a configuration file.
Thanks, I hadn't known about FS2Open before. However, it requires a retail Freespace 2 installation, which I don't have, and I don't really feel like shelling out another 6 bucks for it.
Not only that, the intro does not have sound and if you try to play it from the Tech Room, the game crashes.
I am wondering if there's a way to file an bug report to the developer/publisher? These games are not cheap, and if the bugs are not ironed out in a timely manner, I might consider requesting a refund.
The best shoot 'em up game ever created, period.
