I just want to ask if any of you played what you think are controversial mods/wads from Doom?

Soooooo.......after a private family matter was being settled, I can finally post here without worries. I guess nothing here has changed much......
Doom 2 is now 30 years old and Heretic too. Granted, I don't remember playing the latter in my teenage years since I was kinda late in discovering Doom itself but seeing the game play itself isn't so bad. It's basically medieval Doom and the simplicity of it is quite charming to me. It's a bit sad that there aren't much mods for Heretic itself compared to Doom 2.
In the meantime, here's some old songs from the 1983 Scarface movie that I was able to appreciate during my late teens. Enjoy! 😘
Now you might be thinking, "Oh no, this 'sastel' is promoting Brutal Doom even though she doesn't like it!" Yes, some people know my disdain when it comes to statements like "Brutal Doom is the only way to play Doom nowadays" and the utterly rabid fans who can't stop worshiping it like a false god.
But whatever little love I have for Brutal Doom lives on when I use a "weapons only" version of it.

"B-but my sweet cutie-pie, sastel.....," you may ask, "....why use a weapons only version of Brutal Doom?" Because that's my preference so that I may be able to use it with some enemy replacement mods.
So to those with an open mind, you can like whatever mod you want but remember that there are other mods out there aside from Brutal Doom that are worthy of your time and effort.

I sometimes get tired of hearing my girl friends complain a lot compared to my guy friends for even the tiniest bit of their problems...
"My hair is a mess, I hate this day!"
"I'm here in my closet for an hour and I don't know what to wear for the party later! I feel like not going to the party later!"
"I got into an argument with my bf because he doesn't like to watch a drama movie with me."
"I argued with a very opinionated person online."
"My crush is a virgin! I prefer someone with experience!" Seriously, WTF? People who kept their virginity intact in this day and age are to be lauded, not ridiculed but that's beside my point.
I get it, we all have our problems everyday, regardless if they're small and big. But my parents remind me that for every problem that I face, I should find something positive or what other people call a "silver lining." Or be thankful for something.
I thank my family for still accepting me for who I am despite coming out years ago. I'm also thankful for my close circle of friends who I still hang out with despite some of them having their own families. I look forward to a nice family dinner that will be prepared by my grandmother in a few days. I'm grateful that I'm living a peaceful life right now, away from any kind of conflict.
Instead of always promoting negativity online, find something to be thankful for or be positive every now and then. It might work wonders for you like it did to me.
Another rambling from me.....
Is it just me or comics from DC and Marvel aren't that interesting anymore?
I remember reading a few comics from my teenage years like Bone & Spawn and some manga like Love Hina that I used to borrow from my male friend. A year ago, I started reading a few comics of Vampirella, Purgatori and Hell Witch. I like both Purgatori and Hell Witch for being beautiful demons who are into women as well.
I think indie comics would be a better option nowadays. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to read this new Spawn comic book.

By accident, I found a NSFW Doom 2 map set where you raid a demonic brothel. Quite interesting specimen for those who are curious. 😏

I watched this with some of my girl friends yesterday on our home movie night. I never knew we'd laugh at this movie all the way to the ending. 🤣
If you have a bad day, I can recommend this movie. We should all find the time to laugh together again.
Some random rambling:
What's with all of these people nowadays associating entertainment with moral preaching? Why can't people have a sense of humor anymore in the West? And it's also hard for someone like me to be accepted when you all have these crazies demanding more "representation" and "more LGBT+ rights" in the guise of "equality and diversity." I've got my own problems to deal with already.
Let's all have a sense of humor again when we can all laugh together without some crazy people "cancelling" one another. When can we achieve that? When we're all in the afterlife maybe?
